Agreed. But . . . my airbrush can't polish a turd (sculpt). It can, however, polish a jewel.  

And this sculpt is most definitely a jewel.  

 

it's a prototype so will probably be all tightened up for the final product

I’ve generally been ignoring all of Magic Square’s Decepticons that I already have via DX9, but I may have to make an exception with this one.

 

Both new age and Magic squares megs look great.

 

i really like how they handle all his joints. i just wish they could have either slimmed up his chest more or just given him a little bit more sculpting there.

 

They already have, it's called MP36 

 

Yeah, but nothing like this !! While MP36 is "cartoon accurate" it still looks like a mess from a lot of angles and to be honest, doesn't photograph well because it looks skinny !!

This however, is simply what I would hope a perfect or 'close to' perfect Megatron would look like.
All the proportions and shape. But mostly, there isn't all those ugly lines on every single panel like on MP36.

It's literally a scaled down legends mp 36 down to the ass flaps and arms. the only real difference is using the chamber for his chest at this scale

 

Yes and no. Like Magnus, this uses an existing MP design as a base, but improves the proportions. Magnus isn't crazy bulbous like the MP and this Megatron's proportions are bulkier and more balanced than the "grandpa with pants hiked up" character sheet proportions that MP-36 sticks to.

Love both newage and this. Will get doubles of both. My issue with newage are the visible ball pegs at the skirts. Both that both look class
