This is timely, I was wondering if I should get the iGear Gears clearing at $10.

 

ok, lets see what you can do. Give us happy face option too though...  . Yeah, i am guessing you wont, but still, would be nice.

 

I like the emotive faces too so something other than stoic would be cool.

 

I wonder if he'll be packed with Huffer or a different minibot?

Here's the whole head.

Huffer's done and this guy's just a head for now. I think Huffer being in a two pack is a safe bet, but probably not someone so early in development.

 

Do you think they have a minibot in reserve or will it just be Pipes?

We might need a thread just to track where each of MS's five thousand products are up to, from "sketch of a head" to "actually exists".

I think there may be an equal number of drawings to prototypes now.
I have a feeling we will get a big update in October. After Ultra Magnus and Red Alert ship or at the Shanghai convention.

 

I can't see them NOT doing Pipes, but then again they'd have to do considerable changes to their Huffer in order to be accurate to his Sunbow design. He's got a different head, chest, pelvis, arms and his truck cab hood is done the opposite of how Huffer's is. That's a lot more than the tweaks they did to get Red Alert out of Sideswipe.

I'll be shocked if they don't do most if not all of the G1 characters, when all is said and done.

Personally I prefer a thread per figure. The Mech Fans Toys upcoming figures thread gets hard to follow and find things in after a while.

 

I got the IGear to use as my MP Gears. He's way too huge for a Legends display.

You did not.
It does seem a little weird, but then Huffer, Seaspray and Beachcomber have come before Bumblebee, Cliffjumper, Brawn, Wheelie, Powerglide and Warpath. I think they just go with whatever the designer has finished.

 

Im not feeling the face sculpture but I know it is g1. I just wish they would have done an updated version like make toys did with their gears.

 

but we just got the New Age bee, IF just dropped Warpath, wheelie doesn't fit with the G1 lineup that they are building, Cliff we should expect from New age as well right? and huffer and seaspray were done once, but not well as well as powerglide, so we needed updates of them and no one has tried beachcomber to my knowledge... so yeah, brawn should have dibs LoL

 

Personal preference would be for Brawn, Windcharger and Cliffjumper.

I am not sure about NewAge; their teaser for the next release seemed to be for Shockwave. I was sure they would folllow 'Bee up with Cliffjumper too. Iron Factory did tease a Cliffjumper.
