Yeah the pale green is what I associate most with Devastator, the NA looks neon to me too.

 

I'm an Iron Factory guy but I'm probably picking this up. The only size comparison I could easily find after googling and flicking through half a dozen videos was BSF's comparison of Magic Square Megatron against Iron Factory Tarn, so these green gents are going to be pretty big! I expect they'll mostly live as Devastator for me but whenever they're split they're going to tower over the Iron Factory hordes.

 

I don’t have any real complaints. If I could make a change? I’d tell them that open/uncovered legs arent that sexy.

 

Why is the barrel so small ? It makes the truck look really stupid.

 

It's like playing Doom Eternal with the unicorn suit. An epic win.

For me it's not the green, it's the purple---too reddish. They're verging on wine-colored.

 

I love this set. I’m getting this set. The green is fine. But yeah, that purple is really off putting. It bothers me in devastator mode a lot too.

 

I'm not sure what you looked at for the response, if it was pictures as mlgpapalouie said there is a swap out one. The other one doesn't collapse for bot mode, though I think that one is green instead of purple.

If it is from seeing the alt mode in the video that is specifically the reviewer's fault. It was left in the collapsed bot mode position the entire time as far as I saw. It should have been extended to the back of the alt mode instead of sitting midway.

 

I can't do anything for you're liking them or not, but I can help with where they come from. The panels on the front of his legs originate on the original G1 toy, and can be seen on both his box art and the G1 cartoon model (though they are smaller in the cartoon).

Idk new age shockwave is proly one of my fav releases and it blows magic squares out of the Toilet.. I like new ages materials a lot more but I do think that magic square will have new age beat in the combiner department, they’re smoked if they think I’m paying 400$+ for their devy.

Why would you pay $400 + when it’s $283 at showz? Or are you in Canada and they don’t ship there or something?

 

I’m disappointed with this set they only combine when you buy add on set body of devastator

 

Yeah, wrong brand, that is NA, MS is so smart to put the combiner parts with the 3 sets.

 

I love these. The transformation is killer and I love the size and color. Looks like they stepped out of the toon which is what my collection is based on.

 

Some people like slender teen proportions, some like a more beefy approach. Me, I don't like the first option, so MS Spockwave blows NA Shockwave to pieces, to each their own  

Yep, not transformed correctly. She also had a small fail with transforming Dragstrip. She's quite the miss transformer  

 

I think they look cheap. Just my opinion. we get some amazing masterpiece style third-party Transformers but in my own opinion it doesn\'t seem like there\'s a really good option for Devastator. It doesn\'t matter who makes it it always looks super cheap to me. I ordered one of the Chinese makes eBay and the things just feel like garbage even though they got good reviews on some of the sites.

 

Fair enough. Look cheap compared to what, Hasbro legends?
