I know it’s jumping the queue but I’d love to finally have some kind of good combiner Computron.

Actually if you count all the other scales, as well as mainline, Computron is the least represented of the 3.

I can only think of 3 Computrons - Combiner Wars, Maketoys, and Warbotron.

yea, i hope they add a wrist joint, similar to what NA did, so that the wrist can bend 90 degrees. also hoping he'll be really articulated with double knee joints, ab crunch, etc, like NA. but everything else is aces!

GAME OVER! MS did it again! Is this little puppy looking like the bomb, or what!
It's ready to smash and tear up a certain other Devy, for breakfast!
Spreading finger hands and an alternate yelling face and the infamous drill hand, great stuff!
I think i'm going to stand in the pantry right now and cry.. :D :D :D

After comparing them more and seeing the Devastator shell for NA, MS wins combined mode hands down for me. By a wide margin.

I do like the NA bot modes, but combined mode MS crushes it.

MS also uses extra Devastator parts.

MS is shaping up to be my combined mode preference. Like that they are giving the option for toon and toy mode in one figure. Not happy that one mode is a pre order incentive.

I see that. At least the whole abdomen and chest isn’t just a shell, and I can actually see the two that form those parts.

And the payoff isn’t worth it. MS still looks a good bit better combined.

If it would have been an MMA match between them NA doesn't have a 'leg' to stand on
Side by side I have to go with MS on this 1, even if I did not collect it.
These Destructicons look like they can demolish things, NA's version looks like the wind can take them.
NA scrapper looks like a newer version of the DX9 1 and I really like the Toon look more.
Still I think both sides will be happy but I know where my money is going.

Looks like MS Devy parts are thighs/pelvis and forearms. NA has this part, which counts as a full set next to the 3 duo's? Isn't NA Devy just a clip on bot with this part? Hope MS isn't going this route.

MS is being quite stingy when it comes to pictures from different angles so it's hard to see how far they went.

I can see it beeing used in a warzone diorama with destroyed Bots, that is why I saved my broken MFT Hound and Skywarp.
When I have enough skills for weathered things and rust, I want to make that

Yes, Iron Factory put out a Bruticus, and its a fine one for what it is. Which is IDW style, and doesn't match the G1 styling of these two. So while I can see MS/NA going for the other combiners we rarely see, I can also see them capitalizing on folks who have these two and War Giant, but are dissatisfied that they don't go together and now want a Bruticus in this style. I know people have been clamoring for a Defensor (particularly since they have yet to complete one in MP scale), but heh, I'd rather get another Bruticus.

I mean, at the very least we're getting "pants" a la Constructor, with interchangable crotch and thigh panels. Long Haul is definitely the abdomen, but it looks like there's a piece between him and Hook. So my guess is there's a chest piece that goes between Hook and Long Haul that also holds the shoulder connectors for Bonecrusher and Scavenger- and I'm fine with that, because I don't think Hook could support the weight if they directly plugged into him. But it does not look like its doing the same arm thing as NA, so I think the lower arms are separate.

Which I think meshes with the three box sets- Scrapper/Mixmaster come with the upper legs, and if its anything like the Stunticon release, the different panels to switch between styles on the first run. Hook/Long Haul with have the connector piece between them and presumably different heads? And then Bonecrusher/Scavenger will have the lower arms and drill fists.

Actually, one thing I find a little disappointing by both releases is the combiner parts don't double as weapons for the individual bots, so we don't get an attack mode like the originals. It would've been cool if either company managed that.

I've been firmly in the Newage camp but I'll admit MS have really pulled ahead in the Devy game.

Thoughts on if the MS combiner bits turn into something? Just think of how incredibly engineered the Menasor frame is out of Motormaster's trailer. I can't imagine MS would do something as silly as having a third of a combiner to lay off to the side when not in use, like NA.

General question as someone with zip experience with Magic Square.

Are these guys prone to breakage? I see all the components at the Legends scale and get the impression these guys are fragile.
