If the release a g1 boxed set with better colors I’d buy it, and keep them as individual bots. Then I’d never have to combine them again!

I actually like the muted green, and I'd be fine with a muted purple, so long as that muted purple looks more purple than the maroon'ish "purple" the original set used.

A reminder of what the green set would look like with the purple of the yellow set.

I decided to give myself a challenge and transformed all six figures blind, as in, without using instructions nor video step-through.

These aren't transformations, they are puzzles! I took over an hour each. For some, I had to 'cheat' by seeing how the alt mode looks like (angled view showing the front and side).

On one figure, there was a piece with a missing pin and was held there with friction.

Are there more complicated transformations than these?

I'm not sure if I can transform them back! :D

Late to the party. Can anyone enlighten me on the difference between the normal and B releases, please?

never heard of them being called that before. but i also don't pay much attention to the release names.

if i had to guess the normal is the green and plum purple release that comes in 2 pack sets. while the B would be the boxed G2 version of the toy. as in this version B yellow...lol

but seriously that is all there is to know about the devy sets.

I believe some stores might have listed the 2 packs as sets A, B, and C, but I'm not certain. Also all of Magic Square's Legends figures have a B## product number. I believe the yellow G2 Devastator has a separate product number, something like B48 for example.

You can try but it’s always a good idea to get Magic Square direct or from a shop with good aftersales service like Showz, cuz MS QC can be iffy.

transformation on this guy is def complex, im glad i didnt listen to ol' bobby hamhands ;)  . once everything is locked in, it feels solid as anything. only thing i have a slight issue with is scrappers combined mode ankle assembly seems too loose and wants to collapse. is there a way to lock it in?

edit: nvm, i got it. such a nice solid figure :)
