I’m wondering if perhaps Swindle can be turned around for a more toy style look. And we can’t forget those sideways hinges in Onslaught’s legs. I legitimately think there may be more differences between a toy and toon MS Bruticus than simply some alternate cover parts.

 

Well, for some reason the character designer for cartoon Bruticus decided to use some of Blastoff's parts for his chest area. You can see the 3 forward control thrust banks from the shuttle as part of the center chest piece.

their menasor was decent. they probably learned from that one and i think this one will be much better. really enjoying legend scales these days from them and newage

their devastator was even better than menasor so i’m very excited for this

 

I just got their menasaor. All the tolerances on all the tabs are way to tight. None of them want to fit right. It makes all the bot and trailer a beast to transform. I constantly feel like something is going to break.

However, I also have their devastator, and he's great. Love it.

 

I guess you got the box set with all the problems?
I've got the first releases of Menasor and Devy, both pretty good when it came to QC. Except motormaster's purple windows are crackling like some antique ceramic glaze & one of the guns was missing.

And back to the Combaticons! I think it's cool how Blast-Off's lower body/rear of the shuttle is twisted the way it is...It's not like that on the cartoon, is it?

Are there any other appearances in any media where Bruticus has that part of the arm arranged that way?

 

If someone has Pangu Toys Omega Supreme and takes measurements, we should be able to make a rough estimate of Brawl’s size in alt mode and therefore Bruticus as well.

Looks farther along than the others as well unless the others are in the colored prototype stage and there just not shown them.

Even as a colored prototype he looks damn good.

Yes. It's cartoon accurate, and how the G1 toy worked. It's also how both MMC and Zeta do.

 

i am pretty sure bruticus will be the same size as the other 2 combiners from MS. there is no way they would mess up what they have going now.

 

Thinking about this now, the shuttle in vs out is even 5-5 among various releases (unless I'm forgetting a Bruticus). Off the top of my head the ones with the shuttle turned around to have the cabin on the outside are FansProject, Fall of Cybertron, Warbotron (and the Jinbao OSKO), Unique Toys, and Combiner Wars/Unite Warriors. For the Shuttle cabin facing in there is G1 (and it's myriad repaints), Zeta, Iron Factory, MMC, and now this.

 

maybe even sooner I feel like (from memory) Ironhide and Ratchet came out very very fast after they showed test shots
