Wow, I barely see any of Onslaught in there at all! Quite a lot of combiner shell on the torso & legs...

Wonder what the odds are of an alternate toy-instead-of-toon configuration that uses fewer faux combiner parts?

the arms and shoulders do not look good to me. vortex specifically. sculpt on chest looks great though

 

The more I look at it the more I believe the thighs, hips and chest are an all in one piece. Not an issue with me but I know a lot will be unhappy with this. Borderline NA Devy Onsie.

Vortex does not look good as an arm though, rest of them are perfect.

 

Face sculpt looks great.

 

Looking pretty good but the surface detail on Brawl, Blast-Off, and Vortex (which I like!) seems somewhat out of place against the smooth, under-detailed toon look of the combiner bits (thighs, feet, chest, etc.). But I'm guessing some alternative toy-inspired combiner bits will take care of that minor quibble!

Color matched feet or no?
Will we need onslaught for combined mode or no?
Are the thighs showing both versions or no?

 

My guess, Onslaught plugs into the combiner Torso piece and the arms plug into Onslaught. Basically Legacy Menasor style but without the transforming trailer.

looks like we've got a suit, hands and feet with possibly an optional onslaught filler, like their menasor?

also this looks like MS can't seem to make up their mind if they are toon oriented or real world. blast off, vortex and brawl has tons of nice sculpted detail which i like and all for. yet the lower torso, waist, thighs and swindle is toon flat and boring, void of any real details. for me it's a mishmash that just doesn't quite work as it looks off and wonky with those glaring differences juxtaposed.  

 

Combined mode is disappointing, hopefully those aren't the final designs. They look like parts you'd throw in the box when not combined, plus the implementation of Brawl and Swindle are inaccurate.

 

It's perfect! I'm getting it no matter what but now I'm a little discouraged because my menasor boxset arrived broken and the tolerances are everywhere

 

Looking nice to my eyes.

Not sure which i would like better, the Toon or the Toy colors... but lets see how MS goes about this.
