Her character barely served a purpose in the first movie, and there's even less use for her in the sequel.
her character is unnecessary in the future. Her and Glenn were hackers. There is no need for hackers in the next film because they have already identified the Decepticons in the first film

She was absolutely terrible in the first film, both in terms of character and acting. She isn't in the sequel because she didn't get along with Bay, and they probably didn't even bother writing her in.
We don't need any more useless characters in the sequel. I'm sure their will be plenty more of them already, to waste precious robot time.
