Looking at the green barrel pic again. I think they can go green barrel with a purple stripe around the center. That would break up the green and not off balance the colours on the leg.
voted purple but looking at the pics green looks best. hes gonna have all those little yellow and red details all over the place as well, it might turn out too Mardi Gras.
Purple would be cool, but I honestly want it to be dark grey or black like Scavenger's scoop. Looks better that way IMO.
I prefer the grey. Realistically, if it is grey, it will be the same grey that the treads/forearms are as well as the scoop on Scavenger and Devastator head. It's unlikely to be a random new shade of grey, not just for aesthetic reasons, but because it would be an extra plastic colour that would have to be poured.
I love the darker grey in the photoshop above but I'm not too crazy about the purple. Definitely not the green!

I'm sure what ever TFC decides will look great, I've got complete trust in them. I would like to put a big decepticon symbol on Mixmaster's barrel so I'd rather it not be purple. However if it was purple I would just get a con symbol with a white background.
