After seeing some digibashes of the great Hercules one colour choice doesn't sit well with me. The grey barrel on Madblender. Personally I would like to see it purple.

I made this poll to see what you would all prefer. Feel free to comment as to why you prefer your colour choice. And remember people, this is all opinion so there are no wrong answers.


Myself I just feel the grey has no place on Hercules' completely Green and Purple body. Green is an option but I think it will make the figure look too flat. Purple will fit in with the colour scheme AND will break up the green even more.

Purple. Grey would look completely out of place. And green wouldn't break up the colors enough.

 

Grey is way too much out of character.

Its either green or purple, and purple breaks up the green better.

 

Are you sure about that? I know on this and other anonymous message boards the opposite has been affirmatively conveyed to me.

Anyway, I'm joining the heard currently and going with purple. I'd like to get a extra and custom paint it since it appears to break up into a pretty sweet set of accessories. But for the definitive version, I'd like to see purple so that there is some contrast on the individual figure while staying true to the master color scheme of the combined form.

 

I'm inclined to think it would look best green, since that would best help to mirror the other leg.

Grey could work, as a mediating color between green and purple, not unlike Scavenger's scoop.

Purple is what I'm expecting to see, but I think that would introduce too much purple on the left leg.

 

I agree with the "too much purple" if the barrel turn out that way. But it can easily be balanced out by adding some purple to the leg portion of the other leg ( I forgot the same argh)

The new digibash with all six bots and hurcules in the middle has some purple and even that little does a lot to balance things.

 

To help illustrate my points, with perhaps a more realistic amount of purple on Scrapper:

 

Awesome visual aids Process. And I still think that that little purple on Scrapper really balances out the purple barrel. I hope the go purple barrel and purple highlights on Scrapper.

 

Meh. I don't really care for the purple on scrapper either. I like my asymmetrical looking combiners.

 

i like the grey/dark grey best...it breaks up the a$$ load of green and purple

 

Looking at process' things, I don't tihnk it can be green. THe green one almost looks like the factory says "oops we forgot to paint that differently".

But its awkd to have a piece of grey amist all the green and purple. Its fine if the grey was more evenly distributed among the combiner but as it stands, purple.

Looking at the pictures everything looks fine except for green

 

I suppose my opinion on green coincides with my opinion that IDW's take of Devastator is the bestest.

 

Its a preference poll not a "what you want" poll. Even if you don't care how it ends up ( and I am in that boat) you must still prefer one over the others...I could be wrong.

 

my second choice would be green...or third, depending on if the two grey colors above are seperate choices..

the reason i like the barrel grey, besides breaking up the green/purple, is that is makes the vehicle the limb is made of stand out more as a cement mixer as opposed to just something else to match the rest of Herc

In retrospect I am CERTAIN that reprolabels can give you options of whatever color barrel you want.
