here there is the thread were I'll put the pictures of my collection! I'll also incorporate here the pictures for my customs I'll post around the forum, so you can better see them. First I wanted to start with something particular. I don't know if outside of Italy there's the tradition of the "nativity scene" (or "presepe", in italian) for Christmas, but hey, here it is my take, inspired by the '86 movie, recreated using CHUG figures! Some pic of my CW collection! I have to redo the pictures for my custom Galvatronus, since I got the UW Armada Thrust to use on him, and also I'm currently using CW Brawl instead of Swindle. I still have to do some cool picture for my autobot combiners too! Funny thing about CW Defensor: you can use the deluxe class Groove as chest shiedl as well as the legend class! While I'm waiting for the official MP Megatron to be released, the CW Leader Class is still a nice fit with the others MP Decepticons I already posted this little mod on UW Bruticus on the forum, but I don't think it's a problem to have the pictures here too! Just a little lego piece on the cannons (from the old FP upgrade set) and here we go! Megatronia is in the house! Here it is one of my custom combiners, Galvatronus, built with a complete different formation from the official one: And here it is my second custom combiner, Nova Maximus, you'll be able to find the lore a couple of posts below this one: Still talking about CW, I found a way to peg Offroad on Menasor's back, creating the classic "box" behind the combiner's head! Predaking had to step back, when RID Megatron came into the house, since he'll be the new Predacon leader! A great memory of mine. This is me with Guido Guidi and Emiliano Santalucia, at Lucca Comics and Games 2016, during the premiation of the I.A.CON. Graphic Contest at the Hasbro stand. My work placed first. today I finally received my Megatronia! Really cool set, and with her right now I completed the Decepticon combiners I wanted to buy!
Finally, I got my second First Aid to complete my Nova Maximus combiner! I changed his head with Smolder's, so it wouldn't be exactly the same character. My initial idea was to use UW Ratchet, but in the end I couldn't find him. The lore of the combiner: after the Ark I with Nova Prime, Galvatron, Jihaxus and their crew got captured into the Dead Universe, they had a crash during the landing. Galvatron got the biggest damage, and in order to keep him alive, Jihaxus transplanted his spark and head into Cyclonus body, making him Galvatron's host. After starting to comprehend and getting control over the Dead Universe, Nova Prime and Jihaxus found that the best way to fully exploit the universe's energies were to use them throught combination. So Jihaxus used the survivors of the crew to create two combiner squads for Nova Prime and Galvatron. The first squad would give a power up and more control on the energies of the Dead Universe to Nova Prime, while the second one would have given Galvatron a new body that he could control by himself. After the two combiners were completed, using their new powers they managed to exit the alternative dimension they were reclused, with all the intention to complete their conquest projects across the galaxy! The Combiner Wars will reach their climax, with the arriving of this two multiverse conquerors! Only the stronger will survive!
not exactly. To keep the ability to rotate the combiner peg without removing the head, I had to sand down a little the antennas and a bit the top of Smolder's head.
Trypticon is in the house! So, after fixing his hips ratchet joints, it's time for some pics! first of all I wanted to recreate the final fight from War for Cybertron! Then, here we go with another fight we wanted to see in the game, but never occurred. Trypticon vs Omega Supreme! Also, since Trypticon's kaiju mode resembles Godzilla, and YotS Omega Supreme's train mode resembles A LOT the MASER Cannon, why not doing a Godzilla-themed pic? In order to spite on Metroplex, Trypticon decided to eat his cityspeaker! Also, since Metroplex got his own cityspeaker, why shoudln't Trypticon have one? And why shoudln't it be Slipstream? Finally, a small comparision pic between the two Decepticon titan class!
