Anybody notice that "Mack" on the cement truck's grill is spelled backwards/mirror image as Devastator is pulling himself together? Either it's an oops, an easter egg or somebodies view through a vehicle's mirror as they as beating a retreat.
this was posted in the TV SPOT thread its basically like what somone said some trucks like ambulances flip there logo so you can view it the correct way in ur mirror. Which makes sense to me i dunno if someone would be dumb enough to completely screw up a scene like that but if it is the case it can be fixed guess we shall see also if this who image was flipped the crane would be on the oposite side rather then on the right side it is on... if that makes sense to you lol
the image isn't flipped though, only the logo on the truck. the lettering on the excavator are the right way.
Thats mirror image. If you take a look at the image again. Scrapper is combining into left arm. Scrapper actually suppose to combine to right arm. So its a mirror image.
ya and thast what im saying its just the MACK truck grill is flipped like what ambulances do so you can view it in ur mirror the correct way. Some trucks do this as well!! If i find a pic to prove this ill post it
Flipping scenes is a common practice in trailers so when you go and see the real movie the scene still feels fresh.
No the image is flipped. The vehicles that make the arms are on the opposite sides of where they should be, and the "O&K" on the excavator is flipped as well. It is a flipped shot.
Here's the image I posted in the other thread. Yes it does appear to be flipped. With hightower forming to the wrong arm. Like I stated to before as long as they keep it consistent and the MACK does flip back and forth.
What possible reason would there be to read mack in your review mirror. With ambulance I can understand because its a vehicle that constantly is only seen looking in the review for emergency reasons. There is going to be some other reason like mix master is dyslexic or maybe to throw us off the scene they flipped the footage so you wouldnt know which way he is pointed. flipped footage happens all the time for trailers sometimes even accidentally if they are rushing to get a trailer out. I dont think this means much of anything its definately not because they wanted Mack to be readable in a review mirror lol.
there were a few things backwards in that commercial, the opening scene of the original teaser trailer that is in France is a mirror image of that in this commercial, also Ravage was shown from a different angle from the trailer
