That looks slightly better. Frame rate is still a problem, of course, but anything is better than Combiner Wars/Windblade: The Series at this point.
"Like anything, you have to have a show that matches the title."
Yes, like in Combiner Wars when all those combiners had war. Remember that? Remember when all those combiners had that big war, like it said in the title? No? Huh, funny that.
I think a lot of posters here are getting a bit too amped up by a short webisode based series.
If it's good, there will be praise, and be talked about. If it's bad, it will get criticism, and a distant memory.
"We have never known this level of chaos... except for that time a planet ate our moons, transformed into a giant robot, and fucking exploded."
To be fair, that hasn't happened in this continuity... yet.
Animation is still so jerky as to be unwatchable.
TF fandom has grown so large that these fans you mentioned, these self-entitled delusional "hardcore" geeks who think that they are the "true" fans, they can be safely ignored by the franchise now, safely made redundant in the eyes of both the brand and the other fans. That's why they killed Botcon. That's why there's a second season of machinima despite all the hate from those people. They simply don't matter anymore. Sure, they were needed when the first movie needed SDCC cheers and the initial hype, but now nobody wants to be in the same room as them, not Hasbro and not the majority of TF fandom who are normal people. I mean, they're so embarrassingly weird and keep repeating something about Hasbro not getting it...
please be good please be good he said multiple episodes of metroplex and trypticon fighting so please please be good
true, but he is right about Optimus being completely wrong. I'm pretty sure that Great War itself was still magnitudes worse than two titans having a throwdown. I mean a war that caused a the near genocide of their entire race and brought Cybertron to the point of being entirely uninhabitable seems just a tiny bit worse than a grudge match between two titans.
Size matters? Quality matters more.
That's what she said.
"We've never known this level of chaos"
What about the CW series then?
Optimus Prime: “we’ve never known this level of chaos”
Really? What about the time Unicron invaded? Or the fragging 4 million year long civil war that cost untold lives????? Remember that one prime? The one that took your entire species to the brink of annihilation?!?!?!?!?
But no, two big bots fighting in a city, now THATS chaos...
Honestly looking at the trailer and press releases it looks even worse than Combiner Wars.
This interview feels a bit... generic. Then again, that may just be me being cynical.
*Sees Metroplex and Trypticon fighting* Well the plot's already better than their CW special! And we're getting what we were promised! (I actually cannot tell if I'm being sarcastic....) Anyways, Titan vs. Titan beatdown: good. Whether we see more titan masters than the known "Emissary"/ Cerebros/ Fort Max combo is another question. Because, y'know... the whole thing with "Titans Return" was the very Oprah-esque theme of "You get a titan master! You get a titan master! EVERYBODY gets a titan master!!!!" But i seriously doubt they will use TMs much... just look at how much Combiners played into their CW story...
BTW now i need somebody with photo editing skills to put that line on a picture of Oprah...
Prediction: I don't think we're even going to see Tryp transform in this... Well maybe he flies in using his spaceship mode at the start, but he has no use for base mode, since it looks like Megs and the nonexistent Decepticons don't need a base to hang out in. Tryp seems more like a "Chaotic evil" that's just going to show up and smash things, taking orders from nobody. So no transforming= no use of Tryp's titan master. "Emissary" may be the only TM we see here...
Here you go.
