Episode 2 was slightly better than the first episode, but still suffered from problems, most notably The Mistress of Flame's voice acting, Starscream being "injured", poor dialogue, and terrible animation.
The only thing good about the series so far is the casting of Ben Pansky as Rodimus Prime. He's one of the few legitimate voice actors, (along with Jon Bailey and Patrick Seitz), and it really shows.
Anyways, the series isn't doing much better besides that.

WOW! That was actually really, really good! LOVE the music, reminds me of the recent Tron movie.

But I STILL can't come to grips with the 5 minute run time. WTF!?!? I've seen trailers in movie theaters as long as this. :/

^^^ Agreed, but it was much better than the 1st episode and the voice acting was far better than Menasor's! He reminded me of Mike Tyson lol

 

Kind of slow. Really liked the voice choice for Starscream & Rodimus Prime. Really hope they start to show more characters outside of who we know are going to be in this. Rodimus did mention Wheeljack, hope to see him. Its clear its starting to improve, its just taking its time as its trying to set things up.

They really should have spent more time on dialogue and perhaps more time in voice sessions. Despite it all I do enjoy this offering.

 

THAT WAS FUCKING AWFUL! It felt like there were two different conversations existing at the same time and being randomly spliced together! There were several weird "jumps" in the conversation, and at times it made no sense. I'll do a full breakdown in a bit...

 

i love how they strait up used MP9 for rodimus' model

not being sarcastic either MP9 is a good mold the fact they left the backpack did make me laugh though



like the voices of rodimus and starscream. the mistress of flame was horrible and felt as if they spliced her dialog later after they filmed it with just rodimus and starscream and it felt really disjointed

 

Not terrible. But not amazing either.

It was kind of an odd choice to end both of the first episodes on a shot of Optimus Prime and have him do practically nothing in both episodes.

Starscream getting injured was a pretty bad scene. Like how did they not notice he was shot when he was wincing in pain?

The first minute or so of animation was bad, but I can't say the rest of it was terrible.

And Maxima's sniper is amazing considering it could go on angles Windblade couldn't possibly see from where she was sitting.

 

The voice acting was pretty good and this Starscream reminds me of the Transformers: Armada version.

 

Man, I wish I had a magic sniper rifle that let me hear every plot point being dropped from miles away.

 

I agree. The execution on these micro-episodes is disappointing. I'm just glad they are free on the Internet and not a direct-to-DVD thing. I would have been miffed if I paid for this.

Whoever put these together needed to watch G.I.Joe Resolute and the Clone Wars micro-series about four more times.

 

That was better. I don't know who the female was. Starscream getting shot was funny. They just look at him for a while, then "An attack! Sound the alarm!" She's going for an oscar with that one.
