Could that work? By using pc-games graphic storytelling like Terminator Salvation the machinima series.
I always liked to see animated computer series of the Transformers with their movie designs. I like very much the cutscenes from DOTM game, especially the one with Megatron angry with Starscream haha. It could also fleshed out the Transformers personality and character.
There is something out there that will make your Transformers Machinima dreams possible. It's called the Source Filmmaker. It's a free animating movie software from Steam that allows you to animate, add effects, and voice without having to make your own. With the right moves, you could take your favorite TF characters from the Cybertron games and the movie games ONLY THE PC versions, and import them to the SFM tool. Observe as a friend of mine recreates a scene from the '86 movie using the DOTM game models: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=49d8C3C-2gk Want to make a longer fight between Shockwave, Optimus, and Megatron? Want to make a scene where Optimus questions his methods on his rampages from rotf to DOTM? Do you want to see Megatron squish a small blonde chick for calling him a bitch? With some time and effort into animating, now you can!
I wouldn't mind a movie mini-series! Instead of the comics it could be on TV telling the events of what happened between movies!
That has better graphic than BW at this point. But I'm confused, I didn't think DOTM was ported for PC...
Huh, guess there wasn't a PC version. I gues the people extracting them used the xbox version and cleaned them up a bit. Concerning models, it doesn't have to BE just Michael Bay's Transformers, it can also use the characters from the War for Cybertron and the Fall of Cybertron games. Not only could you make movies with this free program, you can also make high quality images, or "posters", with them. To demonstrate further, here are a few SFM posters I did in my first attempts: There are tons of things you can do with SFM, and I only just scratched the surface.
