This man does not realize it, but he has sowed the seeds that will spell the downfall of the Autobots. I bought a Scout Arcee and a Pepsi Prime from him, and they came in perfect shape, super padded in bubble wrap and everything. I opened up Prime, attached his fists, and stood him triumphantly by his soda-hauling trailer... His face has been that of a recognized icon for generations, and now Pepsico had him at their beck and call. After multiple successful advertising campaigns at home and abroad, he began to work as a corporate spokesman for many products besides soda; Turtle Wax, Peterbilt Trucks, UPS, and even Breakfast Cereal. In the days to come, Prime would value the fame and fortune that accompany the status of a highly-paid celebrity endorsement over his role as leader of the Autobot forces, leaving them in the hands of Ultra Magnus, who was too busy trying to swing a lucrative deal of his own and "couldn't deal with" the growing Decepticon threat. So busy was Optimus with posing for the camera during a photoshoot for the cover of Popular Mechanics that he never even took notice when the Autobot forces sent him a distress call, and were wiped out by overwhelming Decepticon forces. In the end, the Decepticons even infiltrated Pepsico's vending machine distribution center, giving them the perfect platform to infiltrate the Live Action movie. The Decepticons ensured that the movie would be filmed entirely with stunt doubles who looked nothing like the actual characters, causing Pepsico to drop the old G1 Prime's contract in favor of focusing on Dispensor and the hip young Mountain Dew bots. Out of work and forgotten in the shadow of his movie counterpart, Prime returned to Autobot City to find all of his former compatriots resembling burnt-out toaster ovens. Prime was now all alone and outgunned, with a prop rifle, a ridiculous paint job, and no Roller to console him. It was the end of the Autobots, forever. ....But at least I have a cool toy to remember him by.
