any fans of the original line?

I only own Starscream and Sandstorm out of the twelve but I do own all the molds in other color schemes.

I only had Starscream when the line was new and then got Thundercracker at a yard sale about ten years later.

Had Hubcap, Mirage, Megatron and Megaplex as a kid, found them at a Big Lots or something as a kid right around when Beast Machines was starting on TV. Would later pick up the Universe repaints of Whirl, King Atlas, and Soundwave.

back in the day I thought the "automorph" gimmick was pretty cool. I really liked the tow trucks and starscream. the rest were kinda "meh".

I heart Machine Wars. MW Optimus Prime was the first Transformers Christmas present I received since G1 so the line has sentimental value for me. I was able to pick up the rest of the figures I was missing from a fellow TFWer a few years ago so I'm all set. So bring it on, BotCon 2013.

    I just had Megaplex.

Pretty sure they got Megaplex and Megatron mixed up... Megaplex has a more Megatron-y color scheme. Plus, Megaplex's card out is pretty clearly the teal Megatron.

But regardless, I really like the mold. Don't care for the Rafale mold as much, but the Tow Truck one looks really cool.

I remember a steel roller rack outside a local store back in the 90s with a bunch of these guys on clearance. "Machine Wars? What is this?" I said as I moved on with my life.... kinda looking forward now to seeing what FP has in store.

I remember these.... Back in the good old days when I was younger :(

The Kaybee closer to my house also had Laser Optimus Prime from the G2 line on clearance. I got him and Machine Wars Soundwave. Sigh those were the days..

I had gotten out having toys when Machine Wars came out. But I do love the line. I actually acquired the complete line several years ago but ended up having to sell the line a couple years ago due to my ex-wife divorcing me. I just don't have the funds to get the line back again. :-(

I still have quite a few:

    Hubcap
    Megatron
    Mirage
    Optimus Prime
    Prowl
    Sandstorm
    Soundwave
    Starscream

Some are missing weapons and or accessories.

Overall a nice line of transformers.

Loved Starscream, Soundwave and Prime (Though They should have molded a faceplate for Prime instead of using Thunderclash's unaltered head)
