This is a commission recently finished for a fellow board member.

Head was custom cast from a TFTM jet (forget the name) and sits on a ball joint. I will have this head available very soon also.
The missiles attach using small magnets.
I used Red Alert's figure as the base. He was painted with HOK lacquers and Testor's enamels.

I really like the head (it's from Cybertron Jetfire btw).

I've always wondered why we never saw anyone do this conversion. At least now someone finally has. It works quite well.

The cover clips onto it's spot, there's a small plastic plug which fits tightly in the screw hole where it came from.

 

not bad, although I'm really not feeling the thin green stripes in alt. mode

 

im working on the same custom right now. and im using the same head which is jetstorm a repaint of cyb jetfire. yours looks awsome. hope mine will turn out half as good.

I never liked machine wars-all the toys were basically "bricks", with exception of the cyberjets.....but anyhow, You made a fabulous figure there. Great job.

 

I tried cutting a piece off but it didn't work. Then I cut another piece off the launcher and then sanded the edge of the slot so that I can just pop the launcher on and off. I should post pics on how I did it.

I LOVE it. The stalker mold is one of my favorites from G1, and the Machine Wars color scheme is pretty tasteful.

Your interpretation is just that much better!

I picked up a Countdown to turn into Stalker, so I'll definitely be picking up one of those heads when you make them available.

I always though this mould would work for the stalker mould (got repainted as machinewars soundwave) looks good. Can't help but wonder how he would look in original eye gouging colours though lol
