Here is my first new custom for 2013! Machine Wars Megaplex!

Megaplex is one of a series of specially constructed clones of Megatron. He exists to foment confusion in the Autobot ranks and protect against traitors among the Decepticons. He has led many battles in Megatron's stead.

While Megaplex is ideally endowed with the same power as the original Megatron, the Decepticons' true leader is no fool. Realizing that a being based so closely on his own nature and with equal power would be quite likely to make a play to permanently replace him, Megatron thus had his clones constructed with a failsafe device that significantly restricts their abilities. Thus, though Megaplex is easily able to pass as Megatron for short periods of time, his intelligence, strength, firepower, and skill are capped at levels significantly below those of the real Megatron. The deception is likely to work best on the battlefield, from a distance, or when Megaplex is following a strict script set by the original.

Megaplex prefers close-quarters combat, tearing into his opponents with electron sword and energy flail. For artillery he prefers liquid helium "Freeze Shells".

I used Universe Thrust for the torso, Universe Acid Storm for the wings, and thanks to Hater06, a pair of KO seeker legs.

I can see why you went with the Conehead. The sharp lines that make up that face reminds me of Megatron, but I don't know if I would be convinced with that seeker silhouette he has. Maybe there are Megatron clones with diff alt modes. Still, smashing paint on both deluxes. I use the G1-colored version of that tank megs as my Megaplex!

Gah! I think it really works, except for the head. I can see some resemblance, but I think I'd rather see the original Seeker head on him. But the color scheme and everything really work to make him look like Megaplex. I would maybe resculpt the chest so you couldn't see the cockpit. That and a resculpted head would take this from almost to perfect.

Although I've got to say, there's something sexy as hell about the alt mode. The "Aces" body with the "Elites" head/nosecone, there's just something about it. It's a minor difference, but there's just something about it. Makes him look like a totally different kind of jet.

    Um. Megaplex is a jet.

If I went with an original seeker head, then this is just a silver Starscream. I like the conehead on him because the face is kind megatrony and the cone makes him stand out from the original seekers. But if I could do a head swap with Starscreams head with the deluxe Megatron head and still have the original nose cone fold back like the original seeker, that would be cool.

    Thanks. :)

-_- Ahem, he's one of a series of clones, so he could be anything. He's been a gun...

But again, you did do a good job interpreting the Machine Wars version, considering what you had to work with.

Arms are from the deluxe OP, if you look at the link provided it is quite evident.

Ahem ahem. Mine is MACHINE WARS Megaplex.

"Megaplex was one of two original characters introduced in the Machine Wars line. His mold was originally designed, but unused, for the end of Generation 2. He transforms from a Lockheed-Martin F-22 Raptor fighter jet to robot mode with a spring-loaded one-step transformation."

Don't let this turn into a London's Gentlemans Club.
