I must have misunderstood your comment about Hasbro stealing their [Maas's] thunder. I thought you were saying that Hasbro is producing an IDW Pipes, resulting in Maas's effort losing steam.

Oh? That's what you thought I meant. No, I meant because MAAS was also planning a bucketload of voyager sized Tetra-jet seekers. And pre-orders for those went up about the time Hasbro revealed their Tetra-jet Starscream and the whole MTMTE theme of Siege. Not that much came of the latter, but I think the Tetra-jet seekers must have hurt MAAS a lot.

MAAS tetrajets were much larger than Hasbro's, they were scaled to Masterpiece Starscream. Also, they did not look like garbage, unlike Hasbro Siege ones :)

(I had zero interest in them, just pointing out the differences)

No, them wasting the money is what hurt their tetrajets.

I prefer the Hasbro Tetrajets because they, you know, exist.

I to just received my Stack and I think it will pair better with Double Evil as I believe he has a larger foot than Carnifex. I will test my theory when I get home tonight.

I came to this thread to comment on the same listing. Surely this is dead right, and anyway, how good would he have to be for people to forgive MAAS?

Honestly, if he doesn't break apart during transformation, has decent posability, has properly rolling wheels in alt mode, looks good in both modes and doesn't cost over 60 I don't see what there is to forgive.
But this figure still seeing release is too good to be true.

...honestly, i'm near-boundlessly patient regarding delays; if they ultimately deliver upon their contracted obligations then in my opinion there's nothing to forgive...

...my understanding is that despite some internal mismanagement of funds, the remaining majority of MAAS' partnership are endeavoring to make things right, and good on them for that: if they follow up by bringing new products to market, i'll be at the front of that line...

I'll have no issue with MAAS if they can eventually deliver the 6 tetra jets that I ordered.

Just curious, but was Stack ever released? I've seen the squished version used for when MMC Carnifex (Overlord) steps on him, but is the original figure available or did it never release?
