    Hi all, has anyone dealt with them recently? (http://lunapark.store/) and how was your recent experience with them

    I preordered the TT Paradron Medics set with them and was told it shipped. However tracking number doesn't seem to work.

    Anyone mind sharing? Cheers and thanks.

    Lying money grabbers. I pre-ordered the paradron set back in December and have been told I'll need to wait another month while they list ratchets as In stock for over 2 times what I paid originally. Shady seller.

    Funny I ordered the same set later towards March this year. So far they have been communicative with me on it and I already gotten the set.

    I've posted the set in the Paradron Medics thread.

    Well sadly there seem to be quite a few folk that haven't been as lucky when placed against luna parks apparent greed.

    I bought Takara's Nemesis Prime through them back when it was released. Didn't ship at release so I asked them about it & they didn't even know which figure I bought. Once they found the correct order they told me that the item had been shipping but "due to COVID" I would have to pay an extra shipping charge. It wasn't that much extra so I paid it, expecting to never see the figure. It did eventually show up but I personally won't be doing business with them again. I don't know if they're shady or just incompetent but I'm not willing to roll the dice again

    Yeah I had a tracking number for Paradron medics that so far hasn't worked, I have asked them for a new one and to be fair I will have to give them chance to respond. I thought they might have just entered a a digit wrong but after seeing other issues as reported here I'm not so sure.

    I’ve chased up my Ratchet/Lifeline order with Luna Park and this is the latest:

    The first batch of Ratchet/Lifeline released on the 17th April.

    Takara will release the second batch on 30th May - with orders arriving in June.

    So if you have ordered with Luna Park, hang in there. They’ve been pretty prompt at getting back to my emails.

    Cheers guys, agreed with Kato. Be patient and follow up on them occasionally. They are pretty prompt on the chat with the Wix app as well with me and eventually got my Paradron Medics set.

    So far a pretty decent experience for me but probably my last resort as I’m trying to preplan exclusives as much as I can.

    It takes them awhile once they received it. Took them 3-4 days to finally get mine shipped.

    Their store page is fucky... click to load 6 more listings... slow... and the items are priced VERY strangely in some cases.

    Runabout for 23,500Yen ($174) and Thrust for 13,500Yen ($100) and then this:

    So they're selling Runabout+Thrust for $34 cheaper than what they're selling for Runabout alone? Seems like (a) bizarre and incompetent business.

    Don't lots of businesses offer deals when you buy in a bundle like that that doesn't seem so strange to me.

    I think the previous post was commenting that it’s weird that the total for buying two figures is cheaper than the total for buying one. Knocking a percentage off the total for a bundle isn’t odd…but selling one figure from the bundle cheaper than the bundle is a bit unusual.

    There’s some weird stuff going on with them dealing with some Toku figures right now. They seem very shady. They took orders for an event exclusive Kamen Rider. It’s been rumored but looking more true that they didn’t get enough to cover the orders they had. They also started selling the figure at a higher jacked up price too. They responded they if you email them that the distributor sent a small amount and the rest is coming early 2023. It seems the people who paid the higher price are getting their figs while the people who PO’d cheaper are pushed out. Bandai has a rerun of the figure coming in May. There’s also a ton of stuff going on with no responses to emails, fake tracking numbers and one guy waiting got a response that May is still early ‘23.

    Yes, but not when you are selling the one figure for more than you are selling the two figures. This is wacky.

    I am posting this so other collectors can avoid similar hassles and loss of money in dealing with this seller. All claims are documented and if need be, I can confirm more details in private messages if anyone needs help. I am in the process of disputing my losses and will not add more information unless the issue is resolved. I am posting this so others can avoid problems with missing items, loss of funds due to exchange rate costs and losses being sent items not described in the purchase agreement. This is just my experience with them, others may have had positive transactions. My apologies for the length of the post:

    In early December I received a parcel from Luna Park. On the shipping information, the total amount for the order's 3 items were put on the customs information and assessed by my Government. Two of the larger items were the same item purchased twice, and the third was a smaller item of lesser value. All items were expensive. When I opened the parcel, one of the larger items were missing. The size of the box would have never fit all 3 items, but the customs and shipping forms said all 3 items were included and the total value for all 3 were on the documentation.

    I contacted Luna Park Store via email and asked them to send me the missing item. On their website, they show the item as in stock, new and ready to send like was detailed when I made my purchase. You can add multiples of that item on their website still. As well, you can purchase the same item on their EBay store...also listed as in stock. The current item price is more than double what I initially paid listed on both their store and EBay page. I believed there would not be an issue as it was an error and they were advertising alot of stock for my missing item. I assumed they could just send me my item.

    Luna Park Store responded and said they would first ask their EBay store if they had stock as they said they did not have it in their normal shop. They said then they would ask their warehouse if they had stock. They never responded with information to update me on progress finding a replacement for my missing item. I made them aware several times that I was already assessed for taxes on the missing item, and that I needed them to sort out a solution. They never responded with a fix for the problem, over many weeks, there was no movement.

    Around January, they said their warehouse would only provide me with an open item they claimed was new inside the box, but opened. I protested as new items in sealed and great shape have alot higher value than a used item that may have been a defective return. I paid for a new and sealed item, quite alot of money for the exclusive, so I expected the value and product to be honoured. I said they needed to fulfill the order as they had the item listed for purchase new on their website and EBay store. Also taking a used item is an item of alot lesser value than what I initially paid for, paid tax for and was on the purchase. Refunds would result in a big loss of money due to exchange rates and costs of purchasing items in Yen. A solution was needed as they always had the item listed as new, sealed and available for purchase.

    I suspected they no longer wanted to send me a new item, as they believed they could get alot more for it from someone else, despite it being in my order, paid for and assessed for taxes in full when it was missing in my parcel. I gave them still the opportunity to resolve the issue, this was 2 and a half months of waiting for a replacement for my missing item.

    They said they would seek out a copy from Takara Tomy, but it was an item that was long sold out and was hard to get even when released. They never updated me on what was occurring or offered another solution that didnt involve me losing alot of money via a refund and taxes assessed on a missing item via a form they filled out wrong. With an absence of a solution and 3 months pushing the missing item, they asked if I wanted the used item. I previously told them that a used item was of lesser value and said they would need to compensate for the value of such an item or compensate for costs and taxes paid on an item that was never sent.

    They sent the used item with a picture, but the details were not great in the photo. They said the items in the parcel were new, but the ties inside the packaging were not there and it looked like it was a used item. They said it was new with no issues, but you can see someone likely bought it, used it, and returned it. They sent me the item as so, likely returned. I told them compensation would need to be discussed in the shipping instructions. In those directions, I also said Japan Post EMS must be used as I cannot receive courier items where I live. As well, they needed to mark the item as a replacement item so taxes would not be charged again on the item that was already assessed for customs and taxes.

    Of course, 3 months in, they send the item using a courier, didnt mark it as a replacement item, so I had to fight to get the parcel after driving halfway across town as they wouldnt deliver it to me. Taxes were assessed on the same item a 2nd time, due to yet another error on their end of course.

    When asked to resolve the situation, they claimed EMS was not shipping to my country, but when checking with Japan Post and other sellers in Japan, this simply was a lie. He threatened to charge me shipping if the item was returned due to their Courier shipping error...on an item that was missing, on replacement items that were sent incorrectly after giving instructions 9 times on how to sent the items, because they were and have always been completely irresponsible. I had to pay tax twice on this, for the same item, and full tax on an item of lesser value than what I ordered.

    The courier and bank noted that they did the opposite of what any responsible company would do and made an added expensive mess of the issue. On top of that, they tried to gaslight me on a chat for mentioning being taxed twice for the same item because of their errors on both postal documents, that was a problem in the first place because they never sent my item, didnt help for 3 months with a solution that didnt cost me alot in the end, and sent me a used item that they claim is new inside the box, but it evidently used. They also complained about the added cost to shipping me any missing item, which occurred from their multiple errors they never took accountability for over 3 months. They never made any attempt to send Compensation for the used item and added fees, despite it being in the agreed to shipping information.

    So with added costs, double taxed on a missing item, sent an inferior product of lesser value, and their attitude, I have lost quite a bit of money dealing with Luna Park Store, and can say with no doubt that it is the worst Japanese company I have every dealt with in over 20 years. When you lose money with a purchase, its best to never consider anything from them....because it might show it as in stock, but you will never get it. By the way, they still have my missing item listed as in stock and ready to purchase in their store and on EBay....but as they said, no stock. With dishonesty and gaslighting, they deserve some type of negative award or a fraud investigation. I am currently seeking compensation via a dispute process.

    I hope this helps other collectors avoid future problems and the loss of alot of money in the process. Good luck.

    I am having issues with them too... though not on ebay yet. That parcel is dispatched and well on its way tracking shows.

    The other 4 parcels from their website? One shows as shipped, but fedex hasn't picked it up and should have been a week ago.
    The other 3 are not shipped more than a week after ordering. They have a couple of days then I am paypal claiming it.
