ShowZ full price is out. Looking to be ~162 for all 3 sets. Not sure if the cumulative release will be cheaper.

Very different from that 225 domestic price tag :p

These guys are looking pretty good overall from all the pics/videos. There are some issues I have with the 6 figures and with Devy himself but nothing is a dealbreaker for me. Can't wait to add yet another Devastator to my collection :lol

From what I can tell, I think this Devy is around the same size as IF Bruticus. If you go back a page or so there's a Pic of him compared next to NA Devy, which is taller than IF Bruticus. There isn't a direct comparison yet but I'm thinking they will work together.

So far it's only set A which is listed as incoming at BBB. The other 2 sets may come out fairly quickly tho, not really sure.

Still no PO listing on UncleBilly, so far as I can find. Should I be worried?

I want to see a pic of Don Fig with these in hand. It's like they hopped right out of the Dreamwave comics art pages from 2004! Next I want to see Don's War Within Seeker designs, where each one converted completely differently but still had similar robot and alt modes...

not likely to happen. iirc, he does not like 3pt companies making figures of his designs so your unlikely to see him holding them

Well it's not like Hasbro goes out of their way to make them so if anything he should be glad SOMEONE thinks his designs are cool enough to be made into toys, official or not.

That's not how he sees it. To him, those are his designs being used without his permission and without him seeing a penny. He posted some comments on twitter about it iirc.

Comic artists are generally contracted as "Work for hire," meaning the company they work for maintains copyright to the art and designs. While these are unlicensed figures, it's highly unlikely he'd see a penny if it was Hasbro or Takara.

I've done plenty of WfH art in my time and it kind of amazes me that some artists seem to think they get to keep the rights to designs for somebody else's IP.

To be fair, though, he could have had a different contract where he received royalties from the likeness of designs he created. It would be highly unusual, but if that was the case he'd have every right to be pissed.

Yikes, didn't mean to start a Thing. I always loved Don's designs and his ideas, but I don't want to insult him; intentionally or otherwise.

    ...I still NEED THESE FIGURES!
