Keeping my preorder on this, it looks really cool! Nice to have some simpler, chunky bots at times.

I love the design of this set. Bonecrusher turning into a tiny Cybertronian tractor is adorable and amazing.

Not that I'm thrilled to pay ~$150 for this set, but...like...it seems kind of fair.

Their Voltron was ~$90, and I thought it was a very high quality product. Five legends-scale figures for $90 is like $18 per figure, which is quite reasonable. Voltron was only five figures, and they were all relatively simple. Moreover, Voltron was really only three unique molds. The two arm lions are identical except for the color, and the two leg lions are mostly identical except for some remolding on the backside of the lions. Devastator is six figures, they're all unique, it's noticeably more material than Voltron (it's taller and wider in combined mode), and each robot seems a lot more complex, with more parts, than a Voltron lion.

I mean, yeah, ~$150 isn't small money, but that's like ~$25 per figure, and in the world of 3P legends-scale pricing, that's very reasonable pricing. Considering how much more complex each Constructicon is compared to one of the Voltron lions, you're getting what you're paying for. It's also a hell of a lot cheaper than Magic Square and New Age's Devastators, with a lot less parts-forming.

Did anyone get a look at the "comparison" video? The link just takes me to some site that won't play it lol

Agree on the pricing, 180 and under is pretty damn good for a Devy that won't look exactly like every other company's version, and comes with the cubes, too. Looks like they can be dioramas or even act as flight stands.

I'd just seen that mangamotion video on my feed on YouTube
Found it on AliExpress on pre-order and it's from a seller on my saved sellers list
Will wait until it's on wider availability but looks good and the price is great too - edit - though x3 is what was expected I guess?

And Voltron is only 3 cubes versus 6 here, so it's twice as much product for less than twice as much cost.

Combined mode looks good to me. And should be fun to transform around. No extra waist pieces.

But not sure how i feel about the Bot or Alt modes though..

Do hope they do more products though, like Omega Supreme... I really like their Voltron.

This is a pretty cool riff on Devastator. Love that there's no pantsforming. And he's quite big compared to voltron. So I can understand the price increase.

Buuuut, i already have a legends Devastator (MS FTW!) and I'll be saving up for their Megazord. Can't wait till next year!

This set gets big points from me for having an integrated torso transformation instead of separate waist & thigh parts like Magic Square & New Age.

Price seems perfectly reasonably for six quad-changing legends figures ($25 per bot?). I wasn't waiting for a War Within Devastator, but tempted to pick this up at some point.

Hmmm. My only complaint is that they might be too big for my Iron Factory collection… which seemed like the logical scale.

Have we seen them next to IF’s Bruticus/War Giant?

I'd look for pics of voltron next to them and then compare the pic of voltron next to devastator
