I guess that's a neat engineering challenge but why would anyone want to turn them into cubes?

If they’re really quad changers, that’d be very interesting.

And if it’s more of an IDW Devie as it seems, that’s also tempting.

So, I hope to see where this goes.

Tho, mostly, I should try to get that Voltron. ><

52Toys has clearly shown there is a market, so I am surprised this hasn’t happened sooner.

I've been waiting for combiner-style robots from 52toys. This will do.
Also I wonder what type of combiner it's gonna like? Maybe skeleton-type like MS and Newage?

Really excited for this. Almost wish it wasn’t restricted by turning into a cube

This was rumored to happen. AFAIK there isn't individual bot modes, just vehicle, cube, and devastator combiner

I have the mini Voltron Elvis; he's great, but I've not once turned them into cubes, just bounced between cat and combined mode. Good for those that like cubes? Anyway, he's a great set. The plastic and finish remind me a lot on Magic Square.. it's dense and somewhat matte. Holds a pose really well, totally worth it if you like his size, and since I steer to the smaller dudes, I do.

Not sure I need another Devie once NA puts out their toy deco, but I'm curious to see this.

Hope they’d match the colours of Landbreaker Elite!

Ooh i am curious to see how the Megazord will turn out! I'd like to know how stylized it is. It may just scratch that itch that as Ive been looking out for something that is similar in size to the minipla, but also fully featured.

The whole transforming cube idea is not a thing I care for as i pose my characters. Having bought the Voltron, its quite fun, as Voltron, but has some odd design decisions. Like no bicep swivel, or wrist/head swivel. If they had added these, it would have made a huge improvement. Im curious if these omissions were due to including the cube transformations or just inexperience.

That said, for the price (got it for $86) you get a combiner with diecast. That's a price that's hard to beat.

for MC01 Elvis, the lions have wonky proportions that don't look quite right, and the box mode gimmick is just that for me, gimmicky, but is executed fairly well. however, the combined figure itself is solid and a very fun bot to pose, which is amazing considering how small it is in hand.

looking forward to seeing what Lucky Cat has in store for their next two follow up releases. if the fun factory and quality is as high as MC01, i'll definitely bite.

Oh man, they’re doing a Megazord?! Awesome. Maybe we’ll finally have a decent articulated Megazord, that’s been a long time coming.

I forgot to mention that it's pretty funny that they're using the name Riki-Oh for this set. I haven't read the manga--Riki-oh: The Story of Ricky, but I saw the movie long, long ago, and it's pretty funny for a Fist of the North Star worshipping film set in a prison. It also kinda reminds me of the Double Dragon movie at times, although that was actually released three years after Riki-oh! :lol

Yah, that's why I presumed they were a set of Quadchangers.

Personally, I find the combined mode head to be a little too derpy to me, so I would actually want them for cat mode. :thumbs2:

Tho, I'd probably warm up to combined mode in time, much as I have with Planet X's Cacus' bot mode, tho I would still like a MTMTE/LL Grimlock, too.

I also assume it would be kinda hard to screw up Daizyujin's faceplated head.

Alas, what would really interest me is the Shogun Megazord/Muteki Shogun and that does have an actual facesculpt, so we shall see how far they dig into SS/MMPR.

Still, if you're listening, LuckyCat, ya gotta include the Falcon Megazord/Tsubasamaru if you're gunna do that! :D
