    He arrived!
And WOW he is much smaller than I thought he would be. So far so good!
The reviews are confusing me though, so many of them have said that the battle mask head can’t look up or down but it’s on a ball joint and totally can?

My guess is that the peg was misassembled on theirs. Mine was and I had to rotate the peg 180 which is a common pain in the ass to do with this figure. Specially the shoulder ball joints during transformation.

That’s what I’m thinking too. Minus the everything ball joint issue, I’m loving this little guy!

I’m glad this guy is smaller than the trumpeter kit, bc even though that figure is great, I always thought it looked slightly oversized compared to other characters. Never intended on transforming this one, so hopefully it’s enjoyable in robot mode

    Thanks for separating them

My copy arrived today, it’s a really impressive figure. I’ve already transformed it back and forth 4-5 times and honestly it’s relatively methodical once you get familiar with it. A lot of it has to do with knowing which order to move everything as you connect the panels around the vehicle mode, and where to get a grip so you can twist the ball joints easily.

In a lot of ways this feels like the next “big leap forward” for small-scale TFs, much like Unique Toys Peru Kill did in 2017. It’s a tiny, concentrated cluster of moving parts that flips inside out and cheats its way to a nearly perfect robot mode.

    With Newage Bumblebee:

And for some reason these two are buddies (I’ve always thought a G1-ified JeepBee would be a nice retool of Newage Hound):

Mine arrived today, I've transformed it to alt and back once and am quite impressed, it looks gorgeous in both modes and aside from some awkwardly tight joints it's a fairly clever transformation, though getting everything lined up and properly tabbed in at the end can be quite a pain.

That said, I've got a crack in the plastic on the outside of his right leg's knee joint. I'm not sure if it occurred during transformation or if it was there out of the box. It's not all the way through yet, but if it gets worse, it'll mean the leg falls apart at the knee. It really is just a downscaled version of Transcraft bee!

Got mine today. I don’t collect movie stuff but I just couldn’t resist this time due to the size. :)

Freakin DHL has had my figure for 4 days now, but it hasn't moved at all. And it's already in my city! DHL is my most hated of the large shipping companies.

After some confused internal screaming at how some of those balljoint stems are a big tight I really enjoy him. Hope they continue to do movie bots besides just Bee and Prime.

    I got mine too.

This is a really ipressive piece, but I think it would gave been just as impressive at 120%, 150% the size. Obviously I went in informed, but this feels like the limit of how involved something can be at this size. Everything works, they've loaded it up with tabs to secure the balljoint soup, but I think things like folding in the wings would be a little easier if the size of the sockets was proportionally smaller, as they could be on a smaller toy. Same as how on a slightly larger toy, the roof bumps for the shoulder balls could be flat against the roof panel.

I do get why, though. They could manage it at 7cm, and this way their Prime is probably in line with the G1 Legends Optimii. But for a BB movie collection, I wouldn't have minded it had they scaled everything around the best Bumblebee they could make, even if that puts future releases on the small side. Still legends, though just a hair larger so the star figure is a little more welcoming to handle.

Got mine today too and I feel the same way.

It’s a ball joint filled mess but as I transform it more I get better at making the car mode fully tabbed together. Now this isn’t a bad toy at all just super tiny and has a really intricate transformation (not MS levels but more difficult than IF & NA). Paint and plastic is top notch great. As my first dabble in movie legends this is still a good start.
