this 100-times!...Majora's Mask is so much better than LOZ: Oot.
not saying Oot wasn't good (it is damn good)
but MM was Darker, Creepier, had a beautiful soundtrack, and has a Amazing deep story filled with so much Emotion
(especially with all of the people you meet on your adventure)

This, I missed the amount of connection thats made with some characters in TP. It was great, a rerelease would be mucho appreciated.

Majora's Mask was the first Zelda I didn't feel compelled to complete. Couldn't get into the whole Groundhog's Day thing- didn't seem fun to me.

    I agree with this.

Though I don't think Majora's Mask was that much better than Ocarina of Time, I thought it just barely beat out OoT. The thing that I didn't like about MM is that I thought its ending was a little anti-climactic. But aside from that, Majora's Mask was way more fun and original than Ocarina, and I think is a masterpeice of video games. It truely deserved more attention than it got.

Ditto. It's the only Zelda game I never got into. I tried. I started the game twice and played for several hours, but something about the mechanics of the game and the way time works just doesn't click with my brain. I wont deny it's a great game though, it just doesn't work for me. That said, I'd be willing to give it another try on a portable.

OOT was what did that for me. I got about maybe halfway through or so and just stopped caring. I just lost interest with Zelda as a franchise altogether from that point on

The resetting of events of the world just annoyed the hell out of me. It made it like even after you have played the game for 20 hours that you hadn't accomplished anything. Yeah, I know you really did, but running into the same Deku scrub and hearing his crap over and over really grated.

Yeah, and I don't mean to insult the game. The visuals were good, and I was happy to hear the classic theme music return. But the actual area and puzzle designs didn't keep my interest like in Ocarina. I recall MM being the Zelda that made me start thinking of the things I was doing as chores rather then working towards completing an epic quest. Maybe it also had to do with the novelty of playing a 3D Zelda being gone.

I do hope they finally fix the greatest of flaws in OOT, the utter lack of the LoZ/Overworld Theme

:lol  I remember waiting for it the entire game, eventunally thinking, "OK, I guess they're saving it for the end credits..." Nope. That said, the music in OOT is some of my favorite game music ever, so much so that I bought the orchestral version and still listen to it regularly. Not only that, but my wife and I had the Gerudo Valley theme playing during our wedding procession (her idea). :)

Your wife is a Gerudo?! Sweet!

Personally, I hope they don't put the Overworld theme in OoT. Mainly because there's nowhere to put it. And all the tracks from the existing game are so memorable, I wouldn't want to see any of them replaced. Certainly not the Hyrule Field theme. That is more nostalgic to me than the Zelda theme.

Majora's Mask would be awesome in 3D! Just think of the transformation scenes!

I have to wonder, will OoT 3DS be a launch title or will it be released further in the future?

What?! Majora's Mask is awesome. It's the second best game of all time. Right behind OoT. I actually consider both games to be one. Like two sides of the same coin. One cannot exist without the other.

I think that Majora's Mask would have been the greatest "DLC" ever. Like, if the technology would have been possible, having Majora's Mask be an ADDITION to OoT would have made OoT the greatest game ever. I do not, however, think that Majora's Mask is a solid game on its own, but as an "Aftercredits" to OoT I think it would have been fantastic.
