Does anyone know if the blind box versions from Hot Topic have weapons? I bought a Shrapnel off ebay and it did not come with the gun. After messaging the seller he stated the hot topic versions of all figures have no guns. I did find images of the regular boxed versions that do not sport the hot topic exclusive print all coming with guns.

When I received mine the bag with his pinchers was not opened it was still sealed where images that come with the gun are all bundled together, gun and pinchers.

Can anyone else confirm this? I am pissed cause now I dont want my Shrapnel  

 

Blind box Wave 2 from Hot Topic are identical - aside from the Hot Topic exclusives.

 

Then maybe mine just did not have it cause all accessories were sealed

 

Show the seller this Shrapnel auction with weapon - they're clearly Hot Topic versions as it's marked on the boxes.

It was probably just a packaging error. That sucks.

I just got my first one (Starscream) today. He's pretty neat. I'm trying to get a Dirge online, fortunately he's not as expensive as Skywarp will surely be. Hopefully you guys will be able to get Skywarp easily, though.

 

I got my skywarp, just missing the two hot topic exclusives - snarl and blue streak I think? Grimlock is marked exusive but isn't it the wave 1 grimlock?

Darn it - also missing metallic megatron. Wondering if it's worth chasing these three...

 

I've got a dirge, willing to trade for Snarl, Slag and Prowl.

 

My Shrapnel didn't have a gun either, but my Grimlock and Snarl both had guns and swords, so the thing about Hot Topic versions not having weapons is not true. I guess ours were mistakenly packaged in the factory.

 

Series 2 Grimlock is different from the Series 1 version. Has the same sort of joints that the Series 2 figures have. Also has the dino head backpack but I dunno if the Series 1 version had that.

 

I ended up buying a whole case of these from my local Hot topic. I ended up with doubles of the three Hot Topic exclusives. I was hoping for a Skywarp, but no Luck. I did find a Dirge at least.

 

The wave 1 Grimlock did not have the Dino head.
Additionally, I'm not really a fan of these. If you're looking for a wave 2 Grimlock, let me know!

 

Wanna sell the 3 HT exclusives for a good price?   I wonder if they could be weighed, would they be different than the others. Could buy a case, figure out which are the three I need by weighing them and then taking the rest back.
