loved the film, but the editing was not good!

There was something about the editing that bothered me... It was a bit jumpy and fast! It didn't feel right...

    I don't know, it's probably just me?

Also the dialogue was ok, but sometimes it didn't mix right.... Know what I mean?

But apart from that I really loved this film! Can't wait for the DVD! :)

Yep, it was choppy editing and long length.

The dialogue is a little off too. Some of the visuals also needed cleaning especially the Transformium effect.

    Those were my main issues.

By jumpy and fast, I mean like it went from one scene to another fast so you couldn't take any of it in!

The length didn't bother me, the film felt short lol I wanted more!

To me it felt like Lucas was only in it for 5-10mins

The Editing was certainly better than DOTM, the overall flow felt much improved. Certainly though it's obvious where there were some cuts, or something was changed after filming. Nothing too jarring for me though.

Yeah, this movie's editing is sloppy as f*ck. At least in the Texas/Yeager sequences.

    Typical Bay style

Edited like a music video. Doesn't help the action either especially when it doesn't feel very cohesive

they did that on purpose to mess with us. We're meant to believe it is an Autobot and then boom......it's not.

I wouldn't say that is an editing goof. More like a tease or a bait and switch which was done on purpose

As in quick cutting. I never felt that at all.

Editing is Bay's biggest weakness. He really needs a new editor or stop editing himself. I think it's one of the reasons his films are always given extra grief. It doesn't bother me, I think it's part of his style. It does, however, mean his films seem a little more jumpy and disjointed than films edited in more traditional methods.

I don't know anything about film editing, but my brother thought the editing was pretty good for the film. I could care less personally.

Whoa whoa whoa....so where exactly WAS he when the car pulled up?

    That's BS.

What a bad call on Bay's part to pull that sh*t.

THAT was one of the things that annoyed me with that whole scene.
