I never felt any real pain, but that ball was removed, I did definitely notice it grow in size and harden over the course of the two months after I first discovered a lump. You'll know if you have one, and anything that does feel out of the ordinary should send you to an urologist right away.

It's a trying experience. I burst out in full tears today as the surgical team started to prep me. Took everything I had to hold them. At that moment the shit got real, and it finally hit me.

I was 17 when I lost my right nut to cancer. Also got fucked over because the shit spread and had to undergo chemo treatments for three months too. I felt like shit on and off for a year and half with various pains in my abdomen and none of the doctors I went to could figure out what was wrong with me. Some figured I was faking it or having some kind of physiological problem or what the fuck ever. Finally caught the tumor and got everything figured out but it was too late and the cancer had begun to spread.

Glad you dodged the chemo bullet.

Sounds like the surgery went ok and I hope you have a full recovery.

I think it was very courageous of you to start this thread and hopefully others will benefit from what happened to you.

Oh dude, that sucks. I hope that I've dodged Chemo...I'll see for sure Wednesday.

My doctor is in the Baton Rouge Clinic, but my surgery was at Baton Rouge General on Bluebonnett. BRG was a nice place.

Those ages are definitely not the only times one can get it. My father got it in his 40s.

Glad it was caught early and that you're making a full recovery. :D

Does getting hit in the testicles increase the risk of getting testicular cancer? If it does then I'm in trouble
