Again with the repeating. This may be just me having a knee-jerk since my mom and and sis repeat things but it's getting very annoying.
They found an artist who perfectly matches Lawrence. Even if people aren't satisfied with the art, at least it will all look consistent when collected.
I think Roberts needs to realize that interest is dying here, and that it's not the fans' fault that his stories aren't connecting. Milne's amazing art isn't here to prop up what would normally be innocent enough but boring detours. Enough sitcom dialog, contrived pseudo-intellectual social diatribes, and flat unchanging characters. MTMTE used to be more than a British comedy with emotional elements. It used to have legitimate mystery, legitimate action, and legitimate intrigue to it. Now it just feels like the plot only serves to put grating characters in wacky gooooofy situations so that they can say some koooooky stuff and maybe someone will die.
Say, wasn't Agonizer mentioned before? I thought he was mentioned as dead in LSotW. EDIT: Just checked, that was Violator in LSotW.
Did *anyone* apart from Tumblr demand a two-parter featuring Anode and Lug? "Let's take the two most annoying characters in the book and spend the next two months focusing on them!" Is Roberts purposely trying to have his book cancelled? Holy shit.
I get the knee-jerk reaction, but a) this arc is as much about Nautica as it is them, and b) Anode and Lug's plot in this issue actually ties directly into the Knights of Cybertron myth arc. So it's not as much of a filler arc based on two boring characters as much as it is moving the main plot forward using two boring characters, which... is a little better, at least.
