Oh hell, they're going to ram Cybertron in the back of the head and force a transformation back into planet mode, aren't they.
To be honest, after Unicron #6 Op 25 and LL 25, Im probably done with idw. Whatever takes the place of the current Universe is probably just gonna be yet another geewun rehash. And I am just so tired of those. Ending the war and showing what cybertronian life was like before and after the war was the most interesting transformers fiction has been in a long while. We got some quality world building. Not just in the meta narrative sense, but often times quite literally in the story itself. I love seeing what Transformers can be when it isn't just Optimus and Megatron punching each other on earth because oil. We've had 35 years of those stories. Tell me a new one.
Hope Roberts sticks the landing! I must admit, even though it's felt a bit rushed/compressed, it's nice to see a series actually end. (...Especially after waiting seven years and counting for Winds of Winter.)
I talked to guido guido a couple tf nations ago, he seemed bitter... sorry;sad, about DW experience and I honestly feel he has ghost-written... drawn... so much for the IDW run its unfair. He is genuinely passionate, was a driving force in Furman's Regeneration run, and was also very proud of both IDW Beast Wars comics, and the TF energon IDW one shot, aswell as the DW Energon stuff. I wasn't into that stuff back then and couldn't really understand him, but it would be really cool if 'a tf community' was to 'team up with him' for a 'community - based event'? Maybe in creating a single shot that integrates go bots, or rock lords or something else hasbro has rights to and forgotten into the current mythos... meh... i just feel that after gamers gate, star wars - gate... and the end of the Roberts era, the best direction to move towards, when it comes to 'adult fans', is to produce community based content. After witnessing how Disney has throughout the years pored money into media to, at first atune, and then direct, public opinion towards SW, I'm dissenamoured with the current story telling culture and feel that this (I'm talking about Nick Roche bringing Roberts from the fan fic forums for LsotW and then his rise to.. 'power') the LL/mtmte experience (while still palgued by some PC culture, was much less affected, and worked with, what hasbro imposed, while Barber... just... just.) was moving in the right direction.
What, a jokey throwaway detail that's come up like twice in seven years turns out to be important? Surely not Good call, I reckon you're right. Are you a regular IDW reader? They're not binary-bonded in this continuity.
So do I, Rodimus. So do I. Fortunately, only a handful of issues until this mess - and the IDW continuity in general - is over and I can be done with TF comics.
Glad this series is almost over. Roberts always didn\'t seem to like Decepticons at all..hope we get a writer that actually does some time.
At last the Luna 2 crew is finally here literally bringing Luna 2 along with them I suppose that means pretty much the majority of all significant groups of MTMTE/LL characters have finally come together for the finale. Now I\'m wondering if the Galactic Council and Deathsaurus might also show up too for good measure.
... Would they really go for a donkey punch joke like that? That joke is really bad on all kinds of levels. But then again it is also being done "Donkey punching God" so to speak. That's, I don't know how to react to that one.
I am REAAAAAALLY worried about what Rung is about to do. We know he can make Matrices(Matrixi?) but we don't actually know what the process entails, and he needs to make twelve of them?!?! Also, it's super sweet/sad that Rung called Rewind and Chromedome lucky because they have a romantic relationship, probably something he'll never get to have. Also, I wonder who "He" is that Fort Max mentioned. Is there someone we forgot about on the Necrobot world?
No I'm not. Although I like some of the things in the IDW-verse, I've never really been that interested. It's partly due to strange things like the above, and also the lack of availability or ease of access to such media where I live.
This this a thousand time this. I'm fed up of the constant G1 war reworking in comics and cartoons. If Hasbro were really brave they'd have the stories from this comics animated
