Have to say, I really hope this arc is only three to four issues. For some reason this alternate universe doesn't interest me all that much. I'm more interested in getting more info on Drift's vision!

Also, did Lug just insinuate that Rodimus and Drift were a couple?!

If I recall correctly, someone asked Roberts about it in twitter and he said she was referring Rodimus and Drift, but also not to read too much into it.

2:what happened to tailgate and cyclonus

Were you in prison or a 36 month coma? No other excuse for leaving MTMTE after Ep. 8 is plausible.

 

I hope this artist isn't regular. It's too kiddie looking. Put Milne back on, it's his book as much as it is Roberts.

 

Interesting that they don't even try to fight. Even if Megatron has gone back to his "I renounce violence" path, surely Rodimus, Drift, and Roller would handle a handful of flunkies and guards. Twelve of Twelve looks like Roller could snap him in half like a twig. Compliance seems like the absolute worst choice to make here.

 

I think it might be a thing where they don't know the lay of the land and don't want to run up against something that might just be able to outright drop them all. They are in an alternate reality after all. I do agree that it seems uncharacteristic of the normally impulsive Rodimus but then again, maybe he's finally learning?

 

I saw that tweet but even I read that both Drift and Rodimus just good friends. If you don't know better you said they were lovers and both Lug and Axom didn't know better

 

I'm warming to Anode and Lug here, but wish Roberts had gone with pre-existing characters and just made them female. Wonder if there's some kind of Hasbro/editorial policy that means if he wants a more gender-balanced cast he needs to keep inventing new characters. There are loads of Micromasters that could stand being given new life in a series like Lost Light.

 

Man the child like artwork is rapidly killing the book for me  .
