They live way the hell on the other side of the US, I don't even know their last name. They won't respond to my texts. I don't know their email address, and they recently deleted their MySpace profile. My last option is to call, but they don't like verbalizing through the phone (they prefer texts. we used to text all the time).

Call. Either you'll get the contact info you want or you'll find out the other person isn't interesting in staying in contact anymore and you can stop being bummed about it. If the person doesn't like verbalizing through the phone then they shouldn't have let the other contact methods lapse.

Facebook? Most people have one now days. You can search someones name and an area/highschool/random group and find the person you're looking for.

 

Already did that. They don't check their facebook either.

 

I guess leave a message with your info on it and stop persuing so avidly. Most people think it's strange.

 

Then tell us how it is. We need more info so we can understand the situation. Because right now, it sounds like thay're not interested in talking with you anymore.

 

They're kinda emo and regress when things don't pan out the way they hoped. So they're not hiding from me specifically. They're cutting off ways for people to contact them because they want to be left alone in general. You could say I should take that as a hint too, but I'm the only person who ever paid any attention to them - something they outwardly admitted to me.

 

Um...pretty much means this girl is a dude.

There's only so much you can do being that far away from them. If its a cycle with them as you indicate, you may have no choice but to just wait until they want to talk to you. Could be quite a while.
