Just like the Railbots were available in Europe several months before they came out in US KB stores, there's a good chance the Aerialbots will once again be available over here first. We already saw the Aerialbots in hexalingual "Cybertron" packaging a while back, and now UK-based store The Entertainer has them listed as "in stock". Air Raid Fireflight Ro-Tor Silverbolt Skydive Storm Jet Credits to Dark Perceptor of Seibertron for originally finding these. And just in case: The Micromaster Aerialbots will be available in "Cybertron" packaging in Europe, and in "Universe" packaging at KB Toys stores in the USA.
Sweet! It's only a matter of time before I can't find these either! Seriously, I've yet to find the Railbots at KB. When were they first sighted in the US, anyway?
You do know you can order the whole set from www.kbtoys.com right here? http://www.kbtoys.com/genProduct.html/PID/4712699/ctid/17/INstock/Y/D/
That's news to me. Last time I heard anything about the Railbots at kbtoys.com was that only 5 of them were listed. Thanks! Although, I'm going home for spring break soon. Maybe the KB back home is better than the one here in Savannah and will actually have them.
they are a little cheaper in the buy all six at once option on the page. I need to pick that up soon. Am I the only one who will consider this an improvement over G1 superion and Energon Superion?
Cool. One of the few recent ocassions when being a Transfan in Europe doesn't suck. Broke down and ordered them. With the flood of Micromaster Trains around here, i'll probably never see them at retail.
Now why didn't you tell us that in UK Sightings Thread ? 3-2 on all TFs inc the Superion MMs which are starting to appear in TRUs.
You know, generally, I don't find such comments helpful. I'm a cheapskate when it comes to paying shipping. If I can't find something I want at retail (when I know it should be available at retail), I tend not to get it. That said, I did indeed order the Railbots via kbtoys.com, and got them in fairly short order. While I dislike having to pay for shipping, I certainly can't complain about their service.
So you're one of the fortunate few people who still has a Kaybee within driving distance? Most don't have that luxury, and would find an online alternative *quite* helpful. I know I'll be ordering the MM Aerialbots that way!
I don't care if the UK does get them first...as long as it means they are coming I love the new colors...so I worried that it was doomed
I still haven't found the damn Railbots in KB. Which is odd, as one of the two is pretty decent and not a former nuclear testing facility like the other one. As to the 'why not just order them online?' question...because I've bought two sets of the previous two MM KB combiners, one to open, one to leave sealed. When I ordered the Protectobots from kb.com, they didn't arrive in exactly the best shape, and they have those damn stock stickers on them, which in the case of the MMs, takes up like half the card. Getting a set worthy of leaving MOSC online is a dubious bet at best. I eventually found a set in the store that I kept carded and opened the others. With the Constructicons, those things were all over the damn place, so finding two sets in good condition wasn't hard. All that said, if I don't physically find them soon, I'll order two sets and hope I can cull one good carded set out of it.
While K-B's are increasingly uncommon, I think "most" is a bit of an exaggeration. In any event, my comment was directed more along the lines of Omnibus Prime's: And to his comments on getting some to keep in the package, I would agree that online is still not a viable option. A few of my packages were bent, and those stickers are annoying. But since I don't tend to care about these things, but just that I get the toys, and get them quickly, I didn't mention it.
