Admin, if this is the wrong section please remove.

I've been thinking about selling my complete FansToys Dinobots for a while. I've been out of the collecting scene. Planning to move out of the hobby. I'm just not sure how to price it. My collection is complete and in excellent condition with extra accessories (e.g. 2 grinder toon head, toon accurate gun for scoria, cover to fill gap for sever, extra toon faces for scoria, scoria never taken out of box, extra gold talons for soar). They have been sitting in their boxes for a long time. I'm planning to sell as a set in the Los Angeles area, to avoid packing and shipping. thanks for your help!

This is the section you want: Items For Sale or Trade

As for how much to sell, I don't do a lot but when I do, I usually just hop on eBay and see how much they're going for. Then I charge less than that but that's just me.

The stomps worth $800 all day. Not because people who sell him for that are a jerks. But because the market dictates a stomps worth about $800 right now

If anyone in the LA area is interested, let me know. And if you're not, I may be open to shipping.

It's not really scalping. Scalping is when you buy up limited supply purely with the intent to profit off the high demand for low supply. Selling something on after you've decided you don't want it and asking for market rate is perfectly justified. I don't ask for market rate generally because I'm weird but there's really no reason not to.

This is a really good response, but I do just want to point out that the hole in this logic is that the reason why Sludge's market value is up near $800 is a direct result of scalping and market manipulation. Every major Ebay seller I buy from has at least three accounts which I know. Seeing two 'real' sellers acting as ten different sellers who all say, "Yeah, he's worth $800 now, not $400," is pretty manipulative.

Sell them for whatever you feel is appropriate. I think $1500 is your lowest point but you can definitely get more for the set right now.

I’d be willing to buy one of the Grinder toon heads if you are willing to sell one of the two you have. I’ve sent you a private message as well. Cheers!

I personally check eBay and go about 15-20 percent below the average for fair market value since that accounts for fees. I tend to base on sold listings as well. If it’s someone on bst that’s given me a good deal then I try to return the favor as well.

A recommendation I could offer is joining one of the Southern California TF collector groups on social media. It's a good idea if you leaning to sell local. That puts more eager to buy eyes on your lot for people who are willing to make the drive out to you.
