I could have totally imagined it, but wasn't there an old piece of concept art for ROTF Jetfire that depicted him wearing some kind of large animal skull as a helmet? I've tried searching for it, but I can't seem to find it anywhere. Does anyone know if such concept art exists, or if I just dreamt it?
I think this is the one you're looking for. I know I have a larger version of it somewhere, but it's probably on my old laptop or my external HD, neither of which is hooked up to my current rig. I'll see if I can find it when I have more time, if someone else isn't able to track it down somewhere on the net.
It's meant to evoke Jetfire's age by giving him a dinosaur skull ornament. It's an awesome but impractical element that was discarded.
