Suda51 had almost nothing to do with this. His name is just getting slapped on the game because it was his studio and Warner Bros. is using it because they know he has a fanbase. He had about as much involvement with the game as a director does when you see something like "Quentin Tarantino Presents:"

The story, characters and dialogue were written by James Gunn, not Suda51.

My personal opinion is that the gameplay is boring as all hell. This would have made a great movie, but makes a shitty video game. I only paid $45 for it and I couldn't even recommend it at that price. If anyone is on the fence, you're better off just renting it because you can finish it in a weekend.

Well, he/Grasshopper did put out Diabolical Pitch, which got pretty universally hosed.

But i've loved all of his normal console games i've played, which is almost all of them.

Sad to hear this game is short too, that was my biggest complaint about Shadows of the Damned. Luckily a friend's girlfriend bought it, so free will be a great price.

Since there's a mixed reaction I'll take your advice Roufuss. I don't take it very well when I spend $60 on a shitty game. I'm.like those guys in the Gamefly commercial. I'll get it at RedBox and if I like it I'll get it when its $25 preowned at Gamestop.

My question is to WHO has this game and do you regret laying the 60 down for it. Is the game FUN can say some good times here in this game and just plain out fun to cut up Zombies. I've been wondering about this game if it was worth the 60 and how long is the single player in hrs.

    Pick one.

You have to remember that IGN gave God Hand a shitty review and that is one of the very best games on PS2 hands down. It makes God of War look like an infants toy. Of course in God Hand you don't pull out eyeballs and tear dudes in two so it is way not cool, right?

tl:dr - fuck IGN, they don't know shit.

Getting this game in the mail soon, I'm interested to see how it holds up in my own opinion.

And...I can't help but think of the main character as Bubbles from PPG, same hairstyle and voiced by the Tara Strong.

Got the game yesterday, and before I read any reviews I have to say, it feels a LOT like Onechanbara Bikini Samurai Squad.

Style is great, combat? Nah, not really. I'm trying to find the depth but it isn't there.

Enjoyable though, half my video games experience is eye candy, and this has it, so eh.

The thing is if you dropped $60 on this you didn't do your research. Both Amazon and TRU had it available for preorder at $45 for months and Amazon still has it listed at that price.

I would have paid $60 for it if I had to because I want to support Grasshopper and Suda51. Paying $45 was cool though.

The game won't be for everybody but it is a fun, brainless, romp. Pretty much am getting what I expected and am enjoying every second of it.

love the shit out of this game. it's typical suda gameplay, but after you buy some new moves it becomes a lot more fun. there is a nuance to the combat, not as much as say dmc/bayonetta etc. but it's solid.

i continue to be a fan of the mans work.

I considered getting this game after meeting her:

so I am wondering, is this game worth the $60? Or is it better to wait for the price to drop?

It's worth the money IMO. Great game, especially if you like Troma style "horror" and Suda styled shenanigans.

So, it's £30, which roughly equates to $45, worth it?
