Just a speculation thread, but also something I thought was cool that didn't get any explanation at all. Clearly the ending was rushed, but we did get some interesting shots. For instance, after Lockdown's demise, what the hell happened to his ship? Well after another re watching, before optimus sets up Lockdown's grenade, we get a maybe 2 second shot of the Neocon/two headed shockwave KSI bot looking like he's commanding the other KSI bots to scramble to the ship that's still in the air. Fast forward a little and of course we see Galvatron on the mountainside, but then we have the shots of the autobots and everyone at the docks wrapping up the movie. In the background the ship is seen in one or two shots. Then it's gone... Literally it just disappears. Now of course this could just be an editing thing, but it's just fun to speculate. Maybe Galvatron did get on the ship, maybe the KSI bots just took off. What do you guys think happened to the ship?
China brings the rain down on the ship, then takes the technology before KSI buys the ship and scraps it for cybermatter so no one can use it but them, then proceeds to do nothing with said cybermatter.
I think that was left open intentionally. That way depending on what they decide is better for the plot, they can have the Autobots take it, or have Galvatron take it.
I was pretty sure I saw the ship turning around and gaining altitude in the background. Remember, Lockdown still had minions onboard.

I want Galvatron to take it and free the prisoners and they'll join him. His army would be awesome! Also throw some decepticons in his army.
That would be hilarious if in the next movie Galvatron's army are the ships prisoners. Just like... Jailbird Cyclonus and Sweeps. Oh god... I can see it now. Scourge has a tear tattooed on his cheek and for some reason speaks like a cholo. Cyclonus will be voiced by terry cruise.
YES, and there will be a five minute scene of just Cyclonus working out, and scourge sharpening his red nails to the tune of "it's a hard knock life" the sweeps are his "bitches"
Yes they left this open and my biggest gripe about the whole movie. Some have said it crashed? But was seen after Galvatrons next time speach. Lets hope its Cyclonus and the sweeps on board. It would have made sense if prime took it to the creator's instead of rocket booting out.
I saw it in the background a couple of quick times while Prime is making his farewell speech. It still sitting there in the sky with what looked like it's engine boosters glowing and it being shot at by human planes and burning in some places. I didn't notice if it disappeared into space though. I would have thought that Prime would have reclaimed it or something since it was his rightfully before he blasted off. But I guess they still have the little ship. All it needs is to be repaired.
It'll be cool if they made their Telatron 1 don't know how to spell it in the ship to alert them if there is trouble or something.
If you look closely, you can see that the jet flying around actually shot at the ship. It's a blink-and-miss scene, but when two jets flying near it, two explosions pops from the ship. Later, it simply disappears from the movie. I guess the China military was trying to shoot it down, just for the sake of saying that the military did something. What happens later is completely unknown.
See, that's what I thought as well... But it literally disappears the very next shot. So it could have been shot down? Even then, that should have taken some time.
