Is there any speculation or theories of why Lockdown's ship is in Chicago? and what about those cables attached to the building?

Unless he needs to send out the signal to the invasion force, and uses the Sears Tower's antennas as an even-more-powerful beacon to call down the paddle-wheel-looking cyberships.

We are getting a lot of threads today aren't we...

Anywho... the cables attaching the ship to the building and the general lack of panic/destruction seem to imply that Lockdown at that moment has not attacked. Remember when Bay said he was on Earth for one reason? Well he's not attacking the humans so his reason must be because of something he has already - Prime.

As such the cables seem to imply he is working with humans to an extent - either having the ship tethered to a building for whatever reason or maybe using a power source to recharge his ship? Either way - chances are Lockdown is allied or at least not fighting the humans.

I would agree with you in theory - except he's in a technologically advanced ship that is hovering in mid-air... not sure why he'd need to use inferior Earth technology as a beacon.

Because most likely the fleet is a long ways away from Earth.

My guess is by the time they do show up, it will be time for the big 'sucking' scene in Hong Kong.

Those ships dont have anything to do with lockdown, those are the ships shown in the dinosaur era in the cinemacon footage most likely controlled by the dinobots

So basically, Earth has been the 'Cybertronian dumping ground' for centuries?

Seems every other Transformers-related object has found its way to Earth: The Allspark, the Matrix of Leadership, The Ark (which came into the moon orbiting Earth), and now the Dinobots and the Star Saber?
