TheRaginNation had a picture sent to him of a bio of Lockdown in a Malaysian mall. Apparently it says that Lockdown is the new Decepticon leader, and collects souveneirs from his victims to upgrade himself. I can't show you the video as it was sent to him but its in his latest video update.

Well first of all that goes against the grind of every Transformers TV series there has been.
The leader is always either Megatron or Galvatron and that would piss off a lot of fans. Not to mention Lockdown is a bounty hunter he doesn't have time to lead an army of Cons.

Edit: And if Bay did do that I would lose my faith in him. However since I know that Bay has watched some Transformers I would hope that he would never do that.

 

i wouldn't consider this little bio of him as concrete proof.. but it's poosible.. though we've already been told that he has no faction.

It has been officially stated that Lockdown is neither Autobot or Decepticon. Who his boss is, is still a mystery.

And TheRaginNation tends to speculate a lot. Meaning he is most of the time just guessing. So don't take his words as fact.

 

Well to go against everything Transformers? Perhaps not, Lockdown might make a good leader but it wouldn't be the same. But still as said Lockdown is factionless so why would he want to lead the Cons?

 

You do know that there have been other decepticon leaders, then Megatron and Galvatron.

But still Lockdown is no leader

 

And just to talk about other Decepticon leaders; Both Shockwave and Thunderwing has had that role. And I believe it would be others as well.

 

Straxus, Bludgeon, Starscream  

 

You must also take into consideration I'm going off of what I remember and seeing as how I haven't watched the Transformers series I grew up with recently I can't really remember. I also don't read the comics so if it was in the comics I wouldn't know. Who else led the decepticons?

I wouldn't say lockdown is not a leader. He may not be the leader of the Decepticons but we know he has others on the ship that follow him. So he is a leader character, just a bounty hunter leader and I'm willing to bet he has a few transformer followers too  

 

Yes, they were as good, though I do remember Thunderwing went insane. But as Galvy too did that...  

Edit: Thunderwing even managed to beat down Optimus and steal the Matrix from him. And he even managed to open it.
