For a show set in the Knightverse, what type of show would you prefer it to be? Live action or cartoon (like Clone Wars)?

No show please. Let's make sure we can get good movies going first.

If it's set in the live-action movie series, I'd prefer the show be live-action too. I would prefer the cartoons stay in their own continuities. Creating a universe that consists of live-action content and animated content could get a bit confusing. I also don't want movies to be beholden to cartoons. We'd likely end up with another situation like the old movie comics, where the movies just disregard anything from it.

It would be cool to have a smaller-scale live-action show. Like I've suggested in other threads, focus on a cast of smaller-scale TFs that could be portrayed with practical effects/puppets (Sqweeks/Frenzy-style), and human sidekicks. Focus on smaller-scale contained adventures that don't impact the main narrative. And let the movies focus on bigger conflicts, so neither one steps on the toes of the other. That would be a really cool approach.

Cartoon, live action Transformers was a mistake as far as I'm concerned.

A cartoon would be just be easier and less expensive to develop. I just feel a live action show wouldn't really work as well as a cartoon would

Clone Wars baby! If they use that same animation style and are able to pull it off with the same quality I am SO SO for!

Agreed. I think a live action tv series would be too limited.

Cybermissions was cgi not live action.

I don't mind either way as long as the writing is intelligent and we don't get stylised aesthetics like Bulkhead, Drift or Brains.

Live action limits the cast numbers. Why is CGI so sodding expensive anyway?

You don't think Travis Knight's Bumblebee was a good movie and it didn't deserve the critical acclaim it received? Travis Knight's Bumblebee was actually released with positive reviews

Cartoon, I feel without a good budget a live action show would struggle.

I don't think a live action TF television show is a good idea right now, it would need Mandalorian / MCU level budgets that I don't think any studio would be willing to commit to Transformers right now.
