Do it. He is hands down the best movie voyager screams out there. I'd love a skyward and thundercracker repaint. Just need bonecrusher and Barry now. Can't wait for it.

IMO DOTM scales better with recent Carbot Deluxes (Drift, Hot Rod, etc.) but really lacks paint. ROTF’s okay but just a bit too big for today’s standards.

That was my point. Even when TLK Wave 1 was on the shelves, Bumblebee was usually the first to disappear. It's odd how he's gone from sitting on the pegs for well over a year to being the first to go.

I'll think about it since I'll be getting Brawl coming in soon. But yes, we really need Barry and Bonecrusher. M1 Megatron if we're lucky.

A little tangent, which line do you guys think was better and why? ROTF or HFTD? In my opinion ROTF made a big breaktrough on the engineering, aesthetics and gimmick side, and set the standard for some figures. While HFTD upgraded some of those molds and introduced us to new ones like BB Bee, Prime, and SS, and some non movie characters that were so creative and fun like seaspray, or the scout class ones.

hftd. rotf was great engineering-wise but went a little too crazy with the designs and a lot of toys were way fiddlier than they needed to be. hftd reined in both of those pretty well.

then again, rotf had all those scouts...

I'm pretty sure I got more RotF figures than HftD ones, but I was grateful when the designers realized they over did things right about when they did Lockdown/Mindwipe.

HFTD IIRC had a handful of great molds (BB Bee, Prime, Sidearm, Ironhide) but were mostly just ROTF repaints.

Therefore all the credit goes to ROTF, that line brought us figures that can beat the crap outta almost every SS and TLK figure I can think of in terms of accuracy and quality.

It's a toss up... but my first thought is ROTF. HFTD did give us leader Starscream and legends ravage though.

Toy Kingdom, one of the two largest toy retailer in our country had a toy expo the past few days. I dropped by today in the Transformers booth, in the "play area" were the platinum edition AOE autobots (they're the only "complicated" stuff there, the rest are those gimmicky stuff) Now that I've seen them up close, wow! That level of paint detailing is amazing.

Also that DOTM Optimus didn't survive the rigors of play. Sentinel got to him, first :D
