If you look closely, the staff is his only real weapon. The two things that look like guns are actually drill-looking repair devices, and the mechtech thing is more of a toolkit or sophisticated scanning device. You can of course pretend they're all weapons, and I'm sure if Que had stuck around and done something useful in the movie you would have seen him kick some ass, but they're not really meant to be weapons.
Happens to me too. I've had the figure since May or so and he's currently the one I'm messing with the most.

Screams is probably my favorite, right after blackout. His alt mode is amazing, and his robo mode is even better. Although I grew up with the 07 come being my first transformers, so I'm a tad biased. And don't even get me started on the glory that is blackout.

    So, Studio Series Ironhide

Right off the bat, he's probably one of my favourite figures in the line. Right up there with Starscream and Brawl. He oozes with personality, and he's such a faithful recreation of the ILM character model, it's insane. Personally, I think he even looks better than the upcoming MPM. At least in some regards. The head-sculpt. The head-sculpt. Studio Series is killing it with these. Ironhide's is incredibly well detailed, even down to the scarring on side of his face. It's subtle, but it's there! I think we all know at this point that the arms aren't an issue that everyone feared they would be. They're nicely articulated in the shoulders especially, allowing for lots of versatility when it comes to how you display him and what you think looks most in proportion

The transformation on this guy is lots of fun too. I've come to expect movie Ironhide figures as being covered in panels that will inevitably crash and bang into each other during transformation. But with this guy, everything is so smooth. Transforming him is lots of fun, and something I'd do every few minutes throughout the day whenever possible. The truck mode is aces too. It's got a good heft to it that a vehicle like this should have.

So yeah, Ironhide gets full marks from me. I think my only real gripe with him is that I wish there was a bit more paint on his legs to break up all the black. But I can live with that. Definitely one worth picking up! I'm finding it a little sad how quickly I'm getting through these Studio Series figures though. All I've got left that I want to hunt down is the VW Bumblebee, and then nothing for ages! How will I cope?

Didn't Bumblebee used to be a pegwarmer? Since The Last Knight, I have barely seen Bumblebee on the shelves compared to his TLK wavemates (especially Berserker and Slash), and now literally every other Studio Series Deluxe seems to be around more than him. I go to Walmart, there's an army of the Deluxe Decepticons, but no 'Bee. I go to Target, and Ratchet is there, but not Bumblebee. The one I got was the only one on the shelves, while there was at least two of everyone else.

Granted, it's just the two cities I've been in since Studio Series came out, but it is noticeable to me.

TLK BB has been gone for a long time in my area. He was never a peg warmer.

    Dang!

Was dreaming they finally made a Studio Series car mode Dropkick and car mode Shatter. Just seems so real, until you wake up.

I remember dreaming about getting all of the Planet X Dinobots for about $50 each. I had a hard time getting out of bed after realizing it was all just a dream.

The millitary colour version of the AOE Hound is very impressive

Oh, no. I grew up with UT and 2007. I love Blackout and I have him but it's just I can't decide whether I should get Starscream now.

Nice review! I really hope for SS Sideswipe and Dino to come soon. They'll be great paired with Jazz and Ironhide.

After some careful planning and a helpful distraction from Spike, Cogman achieved victory.

Probably what should have happened between Cogman and Nitro Zeus in The Last Knight.

Which Deluxe Class Sideswipe should I display with my main collection? ROTF or DOTM? I'll replace whichever one I choose with the rumored Studio Series version.
