Does anyone else have this problem with Studio Series Starscream where one of the platforms that hold the arms up securely in robot mode is pulled out of position when it’s tapped in with the rest of the back section?

I’ve fiddled with it a ton and I can’t seem to fix this issue.

Can’t recall as I’m not near my figure right now, but mine might have that issue? Idk, I never noticed it because it doesn’t pose an problems for me. Everything tabs in securely enough or stays in place if anything

They all look so good together, I’m crying. Hopefully we can get the whole squad in MPM form like that soon.

I do, I know exactly what you are talking about and from what you have shown. The starscream I bought does the same thing. the left arm sit a little lower because it doesn't have that "ledge" sticking out far enough to hold on to. I haven't done anything yet to improve it. Not in any particular rush but I too would like to know if there is a way to improve that. My best guess is to use a heat gun or hair dryer to heat the sliding post of the wings and bend it slightly enough to help catch the shoulder but it doesn't bother me enough to risk damaging the figure.

I can see myself buying the set if it was $15-20, but anything higher is not my tempo.

They're not a set, sadly. Going off Dr. Wu's track record, each genetically reverse-engineered dinosaur weapon'll probably go for around 12-18$. However, I'm a total sucker for accessories, (you should see my APS-01U's weapon collection) so I'm definitely down for these. Movie Prime can never have enough face-taking tools, after all!

I see what you did there lol

I'd totally pay that price for a kickass dinosaur!

Yup mine has the exact same issue, drove me insane until I found he looks cooler if you just leave both the wing sections out a bit, makes him even more of a dorito.

Got Slog from Amazon today with the g1 colours, makes him look better next to the multi-color team. I am not a fan of this mold at all, the transformation instructions should never have included a dinosaur to robot transform if they were going to package him in robot mode. It's nice to have everybody except Grimlock (until I pick up the SS Leader), but I really wish Hasbro had designed Slog a bit better. I mean those stupid rubber bits warped to high heaven since he's been packaged in the box for three or so years.

yeah, sludge is the only thing keeping me from cracking and picking up the g1-colored platinum set again. 5 of my favorite toys ever, but i was so petrified of sludge's rubber melting someday that i sold the set and have resisted getting it again. maybe in a couple years i'll rebuy it if there's no reports of that mold disintegrating.

Melting rubber is something I don't worry too much about. I'm just pleased it's a voyager sized Apatosaur.

Can you believe there are already Studio Series Ironhides on ebay and people are actually buying them for their high prices?

Can I believe people are scalping a product that hasn’t been officially announced and other people are encouraging them? Yeah. I can.

It's tempting, but I am just not happy with the price, especially in Canadian.

Never bought Bludgeon, and after the problems with his rubber I'm not about to, but... when did CW Megatron get rubber parts? I thought it was just the RotF Bludgeon mold and its retools/repaints which suffered from this problem documented so far.

Megs has rubber treads for the sake of better traction for the functioning(!) treads. Mine are perfectly fine, though I think some people's copies have had the leaking plasticizer problem, so I suggest occasionally working the treads to keep them from leaking.

Yeah. I'd love to have a NEW Sentinel Prime.

    Wait a second...
I no longer want him now.

Guys, a piece of advice, please:

I already own movie MP Starscream from the first movies and I love him. Do I still need SS Starscream?
