Same here. Upper body looks a little too bulky and that bumper looks to be that "one thing" that all SS figures seem to have against them being perfect, but I'm still excited to see more pics!

Also the fact that he's in packaging already means they might be surprise releasing something sooner than we all thought!

 

If the bumper were painted darker it would look better I think. I will probably jump allover this. My 4 yr old and my inner 4yr old are allover movie TFs at the moment. My 2 yr old is also allover them but so are the pieces to them from him playing/destroying them.

The new Ironhide actually doesn't look bad at all. Despite some odd body proportion with how bulk the upper body is compared to the lower body, Ironhide actually looks almost as nice as the upcoming MPM Ironhide. I do appreciate that they actually gives Ironhide both of his cannons at the same time and didn't try to doing weird things (Or incorporate gimmicks) like it did on the DOTM Voyager figure.

Does anyone know if the “Starscream” from the Bumblebee movie will be a part of the Studio Series lineup? I know Hasbro is going to include a couple of bots from the BB movie, but I didn’t know if “Starscream” will be a part of that too.

 

I’m really loving my SS Megatron! It’s a great size, great sculpt, and has a fun transformation. If I had any issues with it, it would be that some pieces will fall off with ease, and the left leg on my copy is rather loose, though it was like that since first took him out of the box. P.s. sorry about the tilted picture, I don’t know how to put it in a proper position.

 

Has anyone figured out why Starscream has tabs on the insides of his thighs? They're not used for either mode, I wonder what the purpose of them is...

 

Just took a look at my screamer, and I’m not sure either tbh. Maybe it was an concept that got scrapped before release.

 

Id just wait for the mpm ironhide. I think he’ll be the best we will get.

I just want to see a robot mode comparison of Studio Series Ironhide and the Dark of the Moon voyager.

 

Oh, those tabs are used to allow Starscream's weapon to be stored in jet mode.

 

Oh my god.   I never would have known that because that looks stupid

 

I definitely agree. The HFTD deluxe was actually a lot better proportionally, and once you get rid of the weird cannon on the right arm, its good to go. That said, I'd still like to see what else this figure has in store
