Picture is a little blurry. But Wheeljack almost looks better than the Mainline deluxe figure.

 

Obviously I’m gonna wait for the final design to judge it harsher cause things could have changed. But while I dislike he doesn’t have his G1 fins or head I will admit he looks better here than with the mainline toy.

 

The thing i like about having Scourge be heavily based on his (arguably more iconic) RiD version is that on social media it's weeding out all those annoying superficial pop culture nerds that only ever watched G1 as a kid, never bothered with transformers since, and are now all over the place complaining that Scourge doesn't look like a blue dracula soapbar

 

For what it's worth, the ROTB gimmick toyline just got revealed.

What till these people learn RID Scourge is a better design than G1 Scourge. The first time I think I fully ever loved/liked G1 Scourge was his SS toy, mainly because of how the sculpt and paint looked.

 

No it isn’t oversized and it’s a really good looking figure even without the upgrade kit. It’s literally only the neck piece that looks weird and once I cut off the sides it looked way better.

Good god I hate those people so much.

 

These will be going to my SS collection, possibly repainted as different Weaponizers.

I know it’s organic but I don’t think the Rhinox would look terrible with TLK Hound.

 

The beast modes kinda remind me of the Mickey D’s BWs toys from the 90’s.

When was this announced?

 

A month or two ago. He looks really great, but I think I'm going to stick with the first movie bots for MPM.

 

These really speak to me too; I’ll probably paint rhinox blue and say he’s movie Rumble!

Makes me wish they did something similar with SS laser beak and ravage; make them a little bigger, slightly articulated and turn into some crazy weapon for Soundwave to wield!!

Man the kids line Arcee is awesome compared to the design they went with for the movie, what the hell.

 

I wanna say back in August or so? Maybe give or take a month, but pretty sure it was August. I think it was announced alongside the Nemesis being done out of the MPM-12 mold.

I just had a dream that a bunch of new Transformers were revealed (Probably after waking up and seeing the new ROTB stuff, and then going back to sleep), why do dreams always gotta set you up for disappointment?
