I don't agree with any of this, for that figure of Megatron. The hilariously tiny head? The weird black eye? The lanky shoulders? And I still had to paint the shit out of that figure when I got it, to bring out the details.

 

Yeah, same here. I know people are making fun of Scourge because of his inaccuracies and his Leader price tag when he really should be a Voyager (just based on the engineering at least) but he looks a hell of a lot better than that Megatron, which is terrible compared to basically any Studio Series figure IMO.

 

Got my pre Earth Decepticons in today. Question about the Seekers. The directions seem to show the arms tabbing together for vehicle mode, and there looks to be a port on one arm (even if it's a bit shallow) with no tab on the opposite arm. It's the same on all of them. Am I missing something or did the tab get removed prior to production?

 

Man I love the grill guard for Scourge so much. And what’s cool is the symbols on there besides the Autobot, Maximal and Decepticon logo. Love the east eggs.

 

What are the others? I think there's a Predacon insignia but I'm not entirely sure. The weird looking Autobot insignia I don't think I've ever seen before!

Cleaver trick with two grills forming one solid for truck mode and upper grill forms parts of shoulders while clear forms chest in bot mode.

Man, I wish the alt modes for the Studio Series Dreads looked as good as the ones for DotM Crankcase...

 

Renewing my appreciation for Boney McBonecrusher here. I haven’t touched this figure in a while. I still really wish he had more head articulation side to side. I hope we get an MPM soon!

 

It was confirmed today in the livestream that Freezer’s altmodes are a gun with a 5mm peg for Scourge, and that he can store on Scourge’s truck mode behind the cab, ontop of the previous “weapons platform” mode we have seen.



I always knew Scourge would never have 5 modes proper like some people clamed after reading he would have 5 modes. It’s kinda baffing anyone would think a Core figure had 4 different gun modes. But regardless. I love the look of him.


I’m guessing he isn’t a toy-line only thing, but it’s odd the leaks for the movie never mentioned Scourge having a minion. So, is he one of the hoarde Scourge summons at the final battle they just gave modes for, or is he a minion? IDK.

 

Yeah it’s a toyline only thing confirmed by Samlock just now.

 

Ah, okay. So I guess Freezer is just represeting the hoarde from the final battle and they gave him so added functionality.

 

Yeah like the Quintessions in ER.
