That’s a movie figure  

 

I'd say the only standout awkward bits are the legs in Beast Mode. The wierd techno gaps are a stylistic choice, I think.

 

It just looks weirdly blocky and underdetailed/simple to me.

 

Not bad. I like the spear weapon , really gives a tribal kind of vibe to the figure.
The beast mode looks fine too.
Do feel he's smooth when it comes to detailing though, a bit dissapointing with a movie figure.

Definitely megatron. In some ways Nero is a more solid toy, but I almost never even look at him anymore, cause I never liked the character.

This BITCH looks interesting! I loooove the cheetah mode for the most part (those robot hands showing are weird), including that it's not bright yellow, and I love that they're giving all the beasts opening mouths. The bot mode is definitely different, which I appreciate, although the proportions are a bit odd (legs could be longer). I love the spear, definitely tribal, and I love that it can split. Not sure I like the boxy head though. Overall this looks interesting and fun to me!

 

Mainline deluxe looks much better in my opinion, like with Airazor

 

I hate to agree with this, bcs the Deluxe is inaccurate. But fuck!! Wth!! They cld’ve AT LEAST his the damn hands!!

This literally looks like u just stand him up, open the chest, hide the cheetah head, turn the waist, and flip the hands and feet.

I cld be wrong, but this looks overly simplistic!!

 

It's not even really that that I dislike about it. The mainline figures (likely based on concept art) seem to have a similar design philosophy to the Bumblebee movie characters, run the original designs through a live action movie filter. They're more recognizable as the characters they're supposed to represent.

 

So the front legs in beast mode look to be rotated the wrong way. And not hiding the hands in beast mode and the claws in robot mode is a bit annoying. But overall I think I like him. I wasn't sure if I was going to get any of the beasts (Beast Wars was never my thing, and Airazor was meh) but this looks decent enough.

 

Also side by side. The toy is missing detailings and some silver.

Wonder why it looks more less detailed than the trailer design.

I can see that. I don’t mind the difference in design. This just looks bad in my book. It looks cheap, unfinished, and it very much reminds me of these, but worse

I feel like the execution was just bad for this toy, especially he is a SS line toy, and even worse, it’s a voyager!!

I’m so glad that I’ll only be collecting MPMs!! The mainline toys is mixed bag of original designs with crap details, or retooled Kingdom designs with still crappy details, while the SS line is a mixed bag of retooled kingdom designs with great details, and this crappy ass Cheetor toy.

 

I think the toy looks neat but yeah not great, I do not see why he’s a Voyager. And he looks simplified for a SS toy and is lacking detail the trailer/final design has. I know the design wasn’t finished when the toy wad made but still is kinda simple.

Will be curious to hear what Samlock has to say.
