That would be dope. I'd also love to see something other than flames used for a pattern. Maybe black/grey camo! I always liked how that fireblast (?) Optimus from dotm switched out the flames for a cracked lava sort of look.

I don't have my original challenger out right now but I'm guessing he'd be about to his chest. Way too big as Drift is one of the shortest autobots.

It is DOTM Fireburst Optimus. I regret I didn’t get that figure when it came out at retail many years ago. The weapon would still be useful today.

 

Mine was kinda similar still some Legacy but pretty clean.

Damn. I wonder why all this is? I’d assume resets? But it’s only the TF section (at least at my Target).

 

If anyone can give there opinions on these upgrade kits that'd be very much appreciated. Considering I'm slowing down on collecting alot this year I think I think it's time to upgrade the ones I know I'll be keeping forever.

 

I don't have DK15 but heard it's very good.

DK11 is worth all the money I paid for it along with Prime and Jetfire. It makes the base combination feel so naked with it. Gives it a huge shelf presence too.



DK35 is a neat kit if you care for you SS07 Megs appearance. It's a simple change but gives him the 07 design he deserves. It's scary how great the chest looks. Might be me cause I love his 07 design but its so nice seeing it in person as it looks like I'm holding his cgi model instead. Also helps my figure is the PF version with the PF DNA Kit. Gun is also a nice piece.

So SSTF.Shots shared images of BB SS DOTM Leader Prime reissue and apparently the shades of certain colors in the colored plastic are different possibly from the original "The blue on the reissue is slightly darker and deeper, while the red is ever so slightly lighter. The grey they used, mainly for the shins are a slightly more brownish-grey compared to the old one. The silver paint is also more vibrant, while the blue flames on the arms are darker." Which is interesting.

 

Thanks does the DK15 come with Pptimus swords or no? Also does the DK35 color match well? Lastly is it hard to assemble Jetfires upgrade kit?

Same dude, I also wish they would just rerelase the SS32 molde again solo witch top notch paint and all of Optimus's weapons he used throughout the trilogy.

 

This is my first time posting as im a bit new here, but I was wondering if anyone has had trouble with their ss32 mold breaking because i noticed on my 15th anniversary set optimus, the entire uper torso is made out of clear plastic

I don’t own the Megatron kit but both OP kits are solid. The DoTM one adds much needed possibility to his jet pack while the Jetfire kit makes it so much more accurate though it does take a couple minutes to assemble

 

Get the top two for sure. Both make their respective figures so much better.

 

I have all 3 kits and highly recommend them!

 

That Terrorsaur begs to differ

You get 2 handheld sword and the axe from DOTM Optimus vs Sentinel battle. The Megatron color matches well enough. I think DNA used a slightly different shade of base plastic, but the silver matches well.

Are we sure the reissues are coming with those swords and axe? Nothing on any preorder pages that I’ve seen indicate those accessories are coming this time around unfortunately.
