Technically my first purchase of 2023. Easily DOTM’s finest. What a way to start the year!

Freakin’ love this bloke. Don’t need me no SS. I love him just the way he is.

You know the old saying, folks. If it ain’t broke don’t fix it. This applies so much to Skyhammer. The way those rotors tab into his chest is pure GENIUS.

Skyhammer is awesome. I used him as a base for my custom classics blackout and grindor. So good.

Hell yeah, he's one awesome mold; I used it as the base of my custom "Sky Convoy" character.

Sorry for being a bummer, but I need some help with SS Crosshairs (what a way to start the year)

    ACCD8E19-A7F3-4A89-8126-EC7DAD77DD17.jpeg

His left arm is very tight. Every time I try moving it around, I end up twisting the shoulder joint. I tried to take it out to attempt sanding it down, but doing it has placed a massive stress mark on it (that light gray discoloration). I feared it would eventually break after a few movements, but now with a stress mark that lifespand has surely been shortened.

I have some potential solutions in mind, and I would like to hear some feedback on this. Based on the research I have done, I was thinking of using Tamiya’s shock oil on the actual joint to try to loosen it, and Tamiya’s cement to try restrengthening the shoulder joint. I haven’t experienced a problem like this before (i’ve been lucky with qc so far thankfully), so any feedback would be greatly appreciated. Thank you very much!

Honestly some of the best customs I've ever seen. They are all great, but I love the way Starscream, Barricade and Sideways look. Keep up the amazing work man!

One last thing about Hot Rod is the whole transformation is clever but imo especially how the front center of the hood transforms. Shows how SS has evolved with this figure. In the past or even now it’s possible it probably would have been a fake hood piece that would become the backpack (kinda like Bee) but doing this is both so easy, clever and also results in a cleaner backpack.

If they do redo character down the line and some carbots (like Lockdown obviously) they should if possible use this in some way, or for doing new non-redo designs.

I would really like to see this used somehow for Bumblebee instead of just using the same transformation/mold that they have been doing for SS Camaro Bee (don’t get me wrong I don’t hate it but it can get a little tiresome if ever Camaro Bumblebee uses the same transformation/mold each time).

Starscream, the Dreads, and Sideways are my personal favorites that you've done this year. Top notch work all around though. Looking forward to all your amazing customs in 2023!

Graphite is a good and durable "lubricant" in such things. Sharpen a simple pencil and just add some graphite powder to the joint.

Well worth the wait, Bayverse Optimus has just so much detail that is missing completely from the SS figures, they practically beg to be painted.

The flames look ex-ce-launt by the way.
    Great work as always!
    Happy New Year. :thumbs2:
